J-Dog Dungan Provisional Member Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Please let today be the day that I go to a ballgame and the Twins win.

snepp Verified Member Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Oh, and Rally Monkey all the way.
GCTF Verified Member Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Oh, and Rally Monkey all the way. Agreed, finally a realistic option.

snepp Verified Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 You can always count on FSN for some quality analysis, it only took a couple of minutes to be reminded why I skip the pre/post game shows. "The Royals can really hit" Yes indeed, they of the 3rd worst runs scored per game mark in the AL.

"The Royals can really hit" Yes indeed, they of the 3rd worst runs scored per game mark in the AL. They have the 3rd best team average in the AL, and are 2nd in 2B and 3B. Last in homers, though, and mid-pack in OPS.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Ugly start to this game.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I feel like when I was a kid and my parents took me to watch the circus.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I don't recognize the sport being played. Not really typical baseball.
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Another sickening game.
Kobs Verified Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Figures, the Twins can't even go outside the organization to find someone decent to sing a damn song.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Getting shutout by Will Smith. If it's not the pitching then it's the hitting. Err.... it's still the pitching.
snepp Verified Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 *sigh* *insert obligatory "no innings available to get a look at Slama" comment of choice here*
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Being embarrassed by the Royals. And here I thought myself apathetic since the AS break, but this is pissing me off, especially giving up two triples in LF -- Willingham? For f***'* sake.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I can see why the Twins were so anxious to see more of Luis Perdomo and Alex Burnett, and had no innings to toss Slama's way.
snepp Verified Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Burnett has allowed 27 runs now, with 25 walks, and 27 strikeouts. Odd.
snepp Verified Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Unwatchable. Masochists throughout Twins Territory rejoice.
J-Dog Dungan Provisional Member Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Anybody know why the first three runs given up by Diamond, while at first being unearned, became earned like an inning later?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Anybody know why the first three runs given up by Diamond, while at first being unearned, became earned like an inning later? I don't know why they would have ever been considered unearned. There was a wild pitch involved (and an accompanying error on Doumit's throw), but Perez would have scored anyway based on following hits.
