I see systems currently not much differently than before the season (though some of the participants in each grouping has changed) with 6-7 teams that are "elite" systems, the same 6-7 that are "crap" systems, and everyone else at some degree of the middle.

 

I'm curious to see how the Twins could move up by the end of the season.

still lacking in elite talent, but there are a ton of high ceiling guys in the system right now. Working through my own ranking. what's encouraging is most of the HS kids we've drafted over the last few years are all doing quite well.

Yeah, I really think the group of Kiriloff, Baddoo, Miranda, Rortvedt, Lewis, Enlow, and Leach are going to give us several top 100 guys. (Technically, Kiriloff and Lewis have already made some top 100 lists but ...).

2017's draft class will help - not seeing many duds in the premium section of the draft.

I think this ranking is probably in line with what we'll see from others. It's not an elite system in the minds of the experts because it lacks any elite names. Remember, when the system was regarded as elite a few years back, pre-injury to Buxton and Sano specifically, it was on the basis of those two elite prospects.

 

The system will probably be (rightfully) regarded as in that second tier until a couple of prospects are viewed as having star power.

Man, Jay, Stewart, Rortvedt all fell of the top 10 since preseason.

Man, Jay, Stewart, Rortvedt all fell of the top 10 since preseason.

 

Jay is no surprise to me. Nor is Rortverdt. Given their injuries. Stewart isn't due to his outcomes/peripherals. Plus, they did add Lewis and Garver has put up great numbers, no matter what the naysayers say.
