Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Didn't go back to the beginning... So I'll mention it, possibly again... Odin's Ravens is a really good two person game with super simple rules.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Took me a bit to find this thread. Didn’t realize it was as old as it was. Here’s a new one. I ordered it because, well, lol, I just couldn’t not. https://blockclubchicago.org/2019/11/05/cta-board-game-will-make-you-play-as-an-l-train-fight-off-pigeon-swarms-and-more-to-get-around-chicago/?fbclid=IwAR1UGDHcJuujK0tPbXrF4O0V64O_vZenAM4Y2sjjJJnlw6dAh8CH7_XQsvgThanks for resurrecting! I love board games but my youngest is too young, and it’s hard getting friends coordinated and kids cooperative! It’s an older game but Bang! is a spaghetti western card based rpg. It’s quick and easy to learn. https://islaythedragon.com/game-reviews/this-table-aint-big-enough-a-review-of-bang/

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 That looks awesome!I ordered two. It's release isn't for a couple of weeks yet, but I think it will be a popular seller! Of course, the pre-orders will probably give them an indication for production. I'm hoping it's a fun game ... but I think it has collector's item written all over it. Heh. But the description had me laughing, so, we'll see.

Well, Google brought me to this, "The Boston Game," dating back around 45+ years ago. The board incorporates MBTA's "T" symbol, so presumably they went to the trouble of paying some kind of royalties - or if not, when you purchase it you'll own a bit of piracy, yarrr. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/15477/boston-game
