USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Joe "Iron Man" Mauer not in the lineup? Huh, weird.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 There's something to be said for minimalism. Very little, but something.Well, it's certainly not "Nude Bartolo Colon Descending a Staircase,' but it'll do.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 It's nice to see Granite moved to the #9 spot, but now we have Polanco at DH? Too bad we don't have Vargas here, because, y'know, we really needed to get Breslow on the roster. Anyways, let's hope Berrios can have a rebound performance.
Tom Froemming Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Oh the things you can think
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Chris Gimenez batting sixth. The humanity.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Chris Gimenez batting sixth. The humanity.Getting Breslow back on the team is important.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 The Yankees radio broadcast is discussing Jose, and using k and bb rates. Swoon.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Getting Breslow back on the team is important. He's the final piece to the World Series jigsaw puzzle, really.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 The Yankees bench today consists of Frazier, Headley, Holliday, and Judge. We have Castro, Mauer, and Rosario.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 He's the final piece to the World Series jigsaw puzzle, really. for the Twins' opponents to make it there?
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 The Yankees bench today consists of Frazier, Headley, Holliday, and Judge. We have Castro, Mauer, and Rosario. so, their manager is even worse? Look at all the talent he's sitting!
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 for the Twins' opponents to make it there? I mean, that would imply we're in the ALCS. If this team makes it to the ALCS, I'll consider the season a success.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 I mean, that would imply we're in the ALCS. If this team makes it to the ALCS, I'll consider the season a success. Uh, you can read it that way, sure!
70charger Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Got a man on third. That should do it for the rally then, I guess.
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Twins RISP 0-3 so far....hey at least nobody struck out!
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Already 0-3 RISP today. Sub .133 RISP after the All-Star break. Ugh.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 So what's the deal with Rosario on the bench, Grossman in the outfield, and Polanco at DH? Is Rosario hurt?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Already 0-3 RISP today. Sub .133 RISP after the All-Star break. Ugh. And even that overestimates the RISP damage done. Kepler had a hit with RISP last night, for example, but it only advanced Sano from second to third, and the Twins ended up not scoring.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Already 0-3 RISP today. Sub .133 RISP after the All-Star break. Ugh. And we're still above .500 (at least for a couple more hours). Can someone who follows such research tell me how much of the RISP BA minus overall BA differential is random and how much holds up over time? Do we just have terrible clutch hitters or are we just having a spell of bad luck?
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Come on Berrios, can't let 0-2 counts turn into walks
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 An overrated pitcher, very lucky all year.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Nothing like your backup catcher hitting .198 batting 6th! Go Twins!
