Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Why the hell would you send him? We're going to look back at that inning and think what if. BoofBonser 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 That fly ball to end the inning would have been a sac fly. Oh well, no use crying over spilled beer. Get 'em next inning.Unfortunate considering the twins usually put together one or two innings a game where they actually threaten to score. BoofBonser 1
Darius Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Certainly cost them a chance at a big inning, but that's assuming the team isn't completely inept at driving in runners from thirdI'll give you that....they are terrible with RISP and less than two out.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 I'll give you that....they are terrible with RISP and less than two out.Their situational hitting STINKS. BoofBonser 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Can't find our BA with RISP...anyone know what it is? I see we're middle of the pack in runners left in scoring position

BoofBonser Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Dozier batting .107 with RISP so far

Darius Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Well now Glenn's decision looks even worse after that.... Dozier's Glorious Hair 1
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 That seems awfully highWith runners on it's .226, runners on two outs it's .191
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Dick said something earlier about enjoying the fact that we are in first place. Better savor every second of it, Richard. Mill1634, BoofBonser and spinowner 3
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Hector starting to pitch like all the numbers say.
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Hector starting to pitch like all the numbers say. Honestly, he's my second least favorite pitcher to watch... always falls behind and is in 3-2 counts, doesn't have great stuff, gets lucky
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 If the pitching is going to regress aome as we all expect it to, the offense has to start showing life more frequently. Mill1634, USAFChief and BoofBonser 3

I have to agree with you there, at least Twins wise. I used to dislike Hughes, but I kinda like watching junkballer Phil.

There must be a bunch of singles that advance the runner to third, but not home, inflating that number. Seems like every game they leave 1-2 guys in scoring position with nobody out.

Darius Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 That might be a home run last weekend when it was 85 degrees and humid. BoofBonser 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 The team is just utterly "meh" at home. Don't know why. Might be better off going to do the dishes for a bit. BoofBonser and Mill1634 2
Darius Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 (edited) That might be the luckiest catch I've ever seen a major league ball player make. He even reacted like he was shocked he caught it. Edited May 20, 2017 by Darius
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 SSS but Twins are batting .045 in 3-1 counts
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Hey Dozier get your ass out of the way... you don't need to try padding your putout stats Worry about batting over .230
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Well, that cuts the lead in a third. USAFChief and Riverbrian 2
