Game Thread: Twins v A's, 5/3 @ 7:10pm CT

*Sigh.*

[bighat]

Yikes.  Looks like we've got a ballgame all of a sudden.

[USAFChief]

He hit that one way over Yonder.

[David HK]

I like that way Santiago has been throwing all season.

I like the way he threw when he got in a little hot water last inning.

And I like the way he's throwing with a lead.    (Ooops, and as I was typing that.....)

I ragged on him last year, too, and lamented that trade- but he's really stepped up so far this year.  The way Gibby was working down in FL, it seemed like he was ready to step up, too, and what a nice staff we'd have had then.

Alonso had 7 HRs in 532 PAs last season. Career high of 9 HRs. He has 6 in ~80 PAs this season. Uhhh, what?

[Oldgoat_MN]

He hit that one way over Yonder.

You spelled Kepler wrong.

[Riverbrian]

He hit that one way over Yonder.

You had to wait along time to use that line.

[jimmer]

Good grief, Byron.

Just give him all of the Gold Glove's for next decade right now.

He's awesome out there, but so are Inciarte and Kiermaier.

[David HK]

He hit that one way over Yonder.

Yeh, it sucks when you walk the guy right in front of the only dangerous hitter in their lineup.

[USAFChief]

You had to wait along time to use that line.

Not really, it's only the 4th inning.

[Vanimal46]

I didn't know you were in the lemonade business.

I'm actually in the lemons business. Keep up!

[Jerr]

You spelled Kepler wrong.

THAT bears repeating

[snepp]

Buxton is fast.

[David HK]

I'm thinking Rosario has broken out of that slump. He's been making contact at a very high rate so far.

Hey DanChat-  I was just looking something up on milb- and check out the article that popped up---

There's a familiar photo in there, too---

[bighat]

Oh hell yes Buxton.  TRIPLE!

[USAFChief]

I thought Buxton was fast.

[Vanimal46]

Just one little slip up and it's an automatic triple for Buxton. Those wheels, man.

[Squirrel]

I wonder if I'll ever get tired of seeing Buxton run.

[Darius]

Nice swing by Buxton, there. Two weeks ago he was swinging through that.

[jimbo92107]

As soon as Buxton made contact I said, "Triple."

[jimmer]

As soon as Buxton made contact I said, "Triple."

me too.

9 seconds from home to 3rd.

[Riverbrian]

Only those watching the Twins TV broadcast will get this but

Dick forgot to go "One Mississippi Two Mississippi".

[David HK]

Thanks, Dozey.

[jimmer]

Not even sure the CF misplayed it. No angle stops that ball from getting to the wall.

me too.

9 seconds from home to 3rd.

Shoot.  I could do that.

Well, if I took the direct route....

[Danchat]

Here's another familiar face. Let's see if they can rack up some runs on Hendriks.

[jimmer]

Shoot.  I could do that.

Well, if I took the direct route....

my fastest time from 1st to 3rd was 14 seconds.  I was 14 and 138 pounds.

[USAFChief]

That'll work.

[DrNeau]

Atta kid.

[Aggies7]

Someone....did their job?
