If you followed me on Twitter you would already know the answer.  I was going to save this for my weekend post of EXST but you forced my hand JT pitched 1 1/3 IP throwing 25 pitches and yielding 2 K. His fastball velocity was 94-96 mph, topping at 97 while his slider was 84-86 mph.  He was a little wild, he apparently was pitching with shoulder soreness in spring training and was trying to hide it.

Official word is "strained neck".   Are you sure that it was shoulder?

Yes 100% what I was told "shoulder soreness" and said persons went into a long story of how it was bothering him from early spring but was trying to pitch thru it, said persons have no reason to lie either.  So could be a cervical paraspinal muscle or levator or an upper trap which would all still classify in that gray area of neck/shoulder soreness

Seems to explain the performance in the spring. Get healthy, dominate a couple outings, and get back up.

Bullpen has been very solid thus far, the loss today to the Dirty Sox not withstanding. No offense to the guys thereally jow but the pen just looks and sound so much better with Chargois there.
