Game thread: Twins @ Tigers, 4/13/17 12:10 CDT

[Loosey]

Oh my god.  Game day says "in play no outs" for buxton. . . .

[big dog]

Great bunt by Bux!!!  The drought's over the crops are saved!

Or something like that.

[woolywoolhouse]

Bunt single Buxton!

[KirbyDome89]

Is it ok to be sad about a bunt hit? Because I am....

[BoofBonser]

Prediction: That bunt is going to pull Buxton out of his slump and he will hit .400 during this coming homestand.

I love physics. Just can't picture equations in 3D, or I'd probably be a physicist right now. Oh, and math, that part was hardish also. And the esoteric advanced parts, over my head. But ya, pretty sure I could be a physicist right now...

But I bet you can understand when your checkbook is below a Zero balance. So, you have that going for you.

[big dog]

Good drag bunt.  It was probably a little too hard for someone who ran like a mortal, but he beat it out without a problem.

Context is important.  Cheer up since the alternative is worse.

[Mike Sixel]

This would be us running on a track these days, snydes....

Never. Gets. Old!

I love this gif like I love great beer or wine.

I'm of the opinion Buxton should bunt more often if the defense is giving him first base.

I don't care if Buxton has a .500 or .900 OPS. If you can get on base, do it.

Because, as we just saw, Buxton should be able to take second almost at will.

[big dog]

Buck stole that base easily.

who balances their checkbook anymore?

[woolywoolhouse]

Great... the strikeouts have moved from Buxton to Dozier...

Agreed.  A guy with that sort of speed should have that in his arsenal.  That threat plays with a defense, especially when he's also able to put them over the fence.

[Brock Beauchamp]

What's a "checkbook"? Is that like Tinder?

[wsnydes]

who balances their checkbook anymore?

What's a checkbook?

[big dog]

And Bux gets to third on a wild pitch...stay tuned

Tight rope walkers, duh.

[Cap'n Piranha]

In 6 innings, the Twins have 7 walks.  It's almost like walks are beneficial to an offense.

Huh.

[Cap'n Piranha]

Apparently, Smokey Joe Mauer has broken up 3 no-hitters in the ninth inning in his career.  Thats kind of amazing.

[wsnydes]

What is happening?  Where was this the last two days?

[Cap'n Piranha]

Am I the only on here?

Huh.

They're okay but what's really important is to put the ball on the ground.

#gladden

[D. Hocking]

Long jump, triple jump, 200s and 400s

The 200 and 400 might be the hardest races to run.  Impressive.

[big dog]

Joe swinging at the first pitch.  What planet am I on?

[BoofBonser]

Sano bomb!!!

[Brock Beauchamp]

lol

[Cap'n Piranha]

Hit a Boca-ton!
