sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Don't bench him. Cut him. That's right. We are kings of the waiver wire. Hope we can reel in a keeper.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 13, 2017 Author Posted April 13, 2017 Don't bench him. Cut him.hypothetical...Detroit puts Cabrera on waivers. He's owed $184M over the 6 seasons following 2017, with two more $30M vesting options (based on MVP voting). Do the Twins put in a claim?
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 A ham sandwich walks into a bar after a long day out in the sun.... He tells the bartender, "Give me a shot of your top shelf vodka, stat." The bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve food here."
Guest Guests Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 I think the Twins should buy low.If the Twins got Cabrera, they'd have nowhere obvious for him to play, so he'd have to go to Rochester to prove that he can still hit.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Someone needs to hand Sano a book on Newton's three laws.
Guest Guests Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Okay, I may be proven wrong, but so far Giminez has looked. . . decent for a second catcher.
big dog Verified Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 It's a joke Alexa told me recently. they are all like that....Why did the elephant paint his toenails red? So he can hide in the cherry tree.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 why is Sano out? did he try to steal? Lead off too much? Inquiring minds want to know.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 13, 2017 Author Posted April 13, 2017 Someone needs to hand Sano a book on Newton's three laws.1. Never, under any circumstances, let yourself be talked into taking a physics class. 2. In the impossibility that you did not follow the first of Newton's laws, make friends with the Asian kid. 3. Don't slide late. Did I get those correct?
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Damnit you guys.... I burnt my Hawaiian pizza over the lunch hour. The oven needed to be on Aloha temperature.....
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 I love physics. Just can't picture equations in 3D, or I'd probably be a physicist right now. Oh, and math, that part was hardish also. And the esoteric advanced parts, over my head. But ya, pretty sure I could be a physicist right now...
Guest Guests Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Someone needs to hand Sano a book on Newton's three laws.Or play "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights" for him. Miguel Sano learns from Meat Loaf!

BoofBonser Verified Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Buxton laid off a low breaking ball! Then struck out on one
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 What did the teacher with googly eyes say? Put your Hawaiian pizza on Aloha temperature?
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 This has to be a historically bad start for Buck
big dog Verified Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 why is Sano out? did he try to steal? Lead off too much? Inquiring minds want to know.I'm watching the Detroit broadcast. Comedy of baserunning mistakes. Sano had a lead, ball in the dirt. Sano starts back to first, then notices the ball is rolling away behind the catcher. Basically takes two steps in place, then runs to second. Gets to second slightly ahead of a high throw slides under it. Big sweep tag that ends up with the fielder holding the glove over his head, apparently yelling "Ole". Sano overslides the bag by, oh, a couple of feet, then tries to slide backwards. Fielder tries to tag him, then apparently hits is foot just before the foot finally makes contact again with the bag. Not a pretty play.
woolywoolhouse Verified Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Buxton is pulling his head. A lot. On every swing. And on non-swings he's not watching the ball either. He needs to sit until he can re-learn the "keep your eye on the ball" rule we all learn in Little League.
Guest Guests Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Then struck out on one Yeah, one out of three is bad (even if it's progress).
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Put your Hawaiian pizza on Aloha temperature? Haha! He said "Darn it snydes, I just have no control over my pupils!" http://www.dcl16.nl/dvd/screenshot/mrdeeds2.jpg

mickeymental Verified Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 few things on the baseball field are worse than stepping up to the plate thinking: i cannot strike out again.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Yeah, one out of three is bad (even if it's progress). No second Meat Loaf reference? I'm disappointed.
