For years I have had a half-formed role playing game in my head, where the objective for the players would be to ensure that the assassination of Caesar is carried out. Of course there would be various ways this could play out besides just being stabbed by the senators, which would then result in different futures, and so on. He could not be allowed to die a natural death. 

 

But one of the checkpoints for my players would be to make sure the soothsayer was there to warn Caesar, which by my thinking would tip Caesar's own sense of arrogance and invincibility beyond the point of his being aware and on guard that afternoon. Any takers?
