Game Thread: White Sox @ Twins, 9/4 @ 1:10 pm CT

[USAFChief]

I heard that awhile ago, but was wondering why there were no updates on his condition?

Dude.  You just got one.

[Platoon]

Dude.  You just got one.

K. Well hopefully his condition doesn't deteriorate

[Platoon]

I would rather be called Shirley than dude!

[Don Walcott]

I thought Julio Franco was still playing in South Korea.

[operation mindcrime]

Yes. And he'll go fishing with Adam Laroche . . . and Adam's kid.

And Kenny Williams will go fishing with Fredo!

[Platoon]

I wonder if they play BB in N Korea. Or did the fearless leader ban it as imperialistic?

I'm sure this has been brought up many times before.. I've counted at least 18 solo home runs for dozier this year. Yet, they continue to keep him at the lead off spot.

One of the Greates Movies of all time. Absolutely no redeeming social value!

It did address problem drinking.

[70charger]

Is this where the patented late-inning collapse starts?

[70charger]

Who are these players? What is this new team that I'm watching? The have the same uniforms as the Twins did. I'm confused.

Wait, I recognize the pitchers now.

Well, the lead-off hitter only leads off a game once.

[HitInAPinch]

Wow, that was fast....

[70charger]

Still hate seeing Morneau in a Sux uniform.

[Don Walcott]

I wish this group would sing "Let's Go Crazy" or "Little Red Corvette" instead.

Fangraphs has already done an update for Buxton's leg kick:

 http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/instagraphs/byron-buxton-brought-his-leg-kick-back-to-minnesota/

HitInAPitch thanks for the link! Now that I've read it I'm very perturbed that we had Buxton use the "Twins way." I only have three words "Total System Failure."

[D. Hocking]

so is it safe to say the concrete has settled?

[70charger]

Maybe we can just hit our way out this mess. What a beast!

[Don Walcott]

This team is officially worth watching.

[Mauerpower]

Ha! I'm guessing that's the logic they're using!

[Craig Arko]

El Sano.

[Don Walcott]

El Sano.

In Sano.

[USAFChief]

El Sano.

Doncha know.

[operation mindcrime]

Whoa Sano!!!! San Pedro de Macoris in the house!
