Ump ejects fan

Apparently the fan was a bit drunk and yelling some sexually suggestive stuff.  We rag on umps but I think this was a good ejection.  I side with the guy who wrote "I don’t have much sympathy for a 50+ y.o. bro who feels the need to yell so much at a baseball game that he actually gets the attention of an umpire, Bob Davidson or not."

Well, it was Philadelphia...  they have some of the lowest class of fans out there, so not really surprised at all.

According to your link, he was just telling him that "he stinks", using other words.  No idea what is sexually suggestive about that.    Umpires are just a bit too entitled, especially when they do "stink" in doing their job.

Nothing more obnoxious than a heckeling fan.

 

I mean except for a self righteous ump. Nice work Davidson, fans used to have to run on the field, embarrass themselves and get creamed by a security guard to grab everyone's attention, impact the game and make the news. This way is much easier, way to set precedent smart guy.
