I won't lie, I just tune out most of the time Roy gets going on one of his tangents so I was assuming I missed some key piece of the discussion, but I wouldn't put it past him to be putting 100% of the blame the players either.

As in advancing runners to the plate rather than to any of the myriad bases they could stop at.

 

Also, i think i had me an epiphony... I figured out why they call it home. Because it is shaped like a house as seen from the field. House being in mind due to the theme in the thread opener of middles. "Our house... in the middle of the street."
