Put May back into the rotation.

Yeah, nobody was screaming for the Nolascos and Santana's (and milones) of the world.

 

People liked (I did at least) the original Hughes signing etc because Hughes actually had the upside to be a front of the rotation guy, of course that upside only showed up for one year, but still guys like him are worth the gambles. Paying a bunch of money to guys Like Santana and Nolasco who best case scenario are #3's are a bad use of limited funds.

 

Plenty of us were "screaming" to go resign Liriano after we traded him, that would have been a pretty good use of funds, no? High upside pitcher, would have worked out pretty well no?

We need a new term for the way the Twins lock players into roles that don't maximize their value. It's kind of like getting Wally Pipped. Pelfrey whines about going to the pen, so May goes there never to return. Plouffe is a good guy and they sign Park, so Sano goes to the OF. Meyer is in limbo right now, but they've already voted once on moving him to the pen.

 

Paul Molitored? Terry Ryaned?

 

Maybe May got Tall Rylitored?
