Hotel and bars for may 21st visit

Hello,

 

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread. However, I am going to the may 21st and 22nd games. Looking for a hotel and bars for post game. Any recommendations?

Doubletree on Lasalle is a good hotel at an ok price, but it's a 6 block walk. Have breakfast at Hell's Kitchen.

 

Lots of good bars downtown. I like the Pour House

yeah i don't mind the walking, I will also check out the Mall of America. Thank you for all the suggestions, the way the Twins are playing, bars may be the best part of the trip.

Well this is actually why I tend to think the 6 block walk is a positive, not a negative.

Groupon typically has one of the hotels for around 79-99 bucks a night and I forget which one it is, even though I've stayed there...I would check it out.

Definitely stay downtown. Loads of good bars within walking distance of TF. Keiran's, Mason's, Hubert's, etc.

 

And the bars increase exponentially if you expand outward from TF.

St. Paul > Minneapolis.

 

Plus it looks like the Saints play that weekend, so you wouldn't even need to cross the river.
