Sorry can't help it.

Really I'm wondering why bitcoin didn't drop to $200

lol! It wasn't the best month, but still is sitting a few bucks from $1100, also I bought some more when it dipped below $975

Still way up on this "investment" and it always seems to bounce back quickly after a rough day or week. (Not scientific at all I know! But hey, gotta roll with what has been working!)

WWE has been doing decent for me lately, Nvidia has stabilized again a bit and somehow I am up 19% on WWE since I bought it, I think WWE is still on the way up, I think it can hit $30 within the next 12 months.

Anyone holding pharmaceuticals?  I put 5500 into my IRA but not sure what I'm going to do with it, mostly wait and see now but I don't have much in health care/pharma so starting to look around a bit in that area.

I expected a better bump when Trump won, for this sector. It's just kind of bleh, at least it was when I last checked in late Feb.

Also WWE stock is up 22% since I bought it, not a sexy amount, but I think it's going to continue to grow in the near and mid terms. They bet on SVOD early in the game, and it's starting to pay off.

Lastly: betterment, on advice from the fiancé I put some long term savings/investment into them. 90% stock 10% bond.

So far in 8 months: 9.4% return.

Not bad. Especially when it outpaces similar type things I had with tRowe etc, and the fees are much much better

I think the top is in. That correction appears to be here.  Should be some good buys in the near future. If you were thinking of taking some profit, now would be the time to do it.

I'm going to have to take some profits, so when it dips next time, I have some cash....

I think my next buy's going to be FB. Looks like they're in great shape financially and trends are excellent. Price seems reasonable, even cheap. Is there anything I'm missing?

Nope. FB, AMZN, GOOG, MSFT....all good investments. IMO, not being an advisor.

Shopify is having itself a day.

I can't say strongly enough how much I believe in this company. Great plan. Long term play. Amazon has been unable to beat them, when they take everyone else down.

Well, they're going for pretty different markets. Amazon is geared for bulk sales and people jumping into their site ecosystem, Shopify is geared for individual retailers who want their own web presence.

And Amazon doesn't profit much from their actual site sales. It's all the add-in stuff that competes with other web services that makes them a boatload of money (Prime Video, cloud computing, et al).

amazon has tried twice to get into this business, and Shopify beat them back both times. It's why Amazon is not in that business.

Good point. I forgot how Amazon tried to dive into that business and bailed the **** out a few years back.

That's why I love them. If they can stop Amazon from besting them, it's hard to see them ever losing this space. which is only going to grow.

to be clear, eventually every company loses.....I just don't think this happens anytime soon.

Again, keeping in mind that I'm just some idiot on the internet, HP has sunk below 60/share. HP is a big oil rig company that we owned for about a decade and its growth allowed me to pay off a bunch of student loans, so I really like it.  Very nice dividend as well.  I'm not sure if we'll re-buy it but we probably will and it's worth watching.

Mike I sold off some bitcoin earlier this week. Shifted some to Berkshire B and more to Nvidia.

I think eventually bitcoin will take another dip, will heavy back up again then.

I was looking at Berkshire this week also.

My plan is to buy bitcoin after it's next dip. But with Russia saying they like cryptocurrencies, will there be a dip?
