Yeah, FVRR doubled for me. I'm thinking of bailing soon though. Not sure they'll win the fight with Microsoft. 

 

coulda made 16% buying at the trough, and selling at the peak, today.....I'm not overly worried yet.

Coinbase filed their S-1 today for their IPO.  Should be around $100B or larger than most banks out there.

Want to bet which is worse per capita / per dollar? Or, just use credit and debit cards and no money....

My wife and I have been pretty good about not panic selling, SHOP being my biggest mistake. Generally, you should only sell when you need to. We've bought stocks and sold them to pay off student debt, buy a house, etc but generally we own for the long haul and, with dividend reinvestment, it's worked for us.

I didn't realize Roblox had a ticker... I don't know much about it. But if video game franchises had their own stock tickers, then I'd be more of an expert on the topic. If only I could have put money down on Minecraft years ago!

I know this isn't stock market related, but I've been monitoring the cryptocurrency market... and I had been watching the Doge-coin for a while, but figured it was too much of a meme to put real money on. Now it's skyrocketed.. I just have a hard time investing in something that has so little real world value. Perhaps I have much to learn...

I may be new to the stock market... but man, AMC was just killing it for me last week. I sold 75% of my shares, but still came out with 200%+ gains on it. And today CLOV, another one I've got money in, is absolutely skyrocketing. Going after these heavily-shorted stocks seems to be working out for me!

I'm glad you got your gains. I've been avoiding the AMC/gamestop stuff but maybe I should have thrown a few dollars at it. I have a friend who is only buying AMC GME and cannabis stocks. I probably wouldn't have done that but he's ok with it. 

We actually bought a couple hundred shares of Apple stock yesterday.

Anyone want to mention an unsexy-stock they are happy to own? Just throwing this out there but we bought John Deere in August 2015. In that time, it's grown 333%. Facebook grew 283% in the same period, Netflix was 349%. Deere has a pretty impressive moat and a solid dividend as well. It's not sexy at all but, man, it's been a nice stock for us.
