1st Timer question. I bought my ticket and I'm guessing that you will have my info and I will receive my ticket at the door. Is that how it works?

Fair question...

You will not receive a physical ticket. However, your name will be on our list/report at The Pourhouse when you get there. WIll basically just need to check in and get your "stuff."

I'm getting excited to attend again this year. I don't get out much these days, but The Meltdown is on my calendar every year. I especially appreciate that the writers make an effort to meet the readers (thanks for dropping by our table and introducing yourself, Seth). Looking forward to some great Twins talk with this community!

Nope, it was intentional. Everyone knows Paul is a lefty.

(really though, it was done because a right-handed catcher didn't work in the composition of the overall drawing... his back would have been turned to the viewer)

Plus, the Portland Mavericks, an independent team in the Northwest League had a left-handed catcher... They were forced out of Portland when the Pacific Coast League brought the Portland Beavers back to Portland... and the Portland Beavers were once an affiliate of the Twins... so, it all makes sense...

After I bought my ticket I got an email that said "We will send you another email when your items have been shipped."

I thought all tickets were will call?

I was at Twins Fest tonight and got Scott Erickson's autograph. Just to make conversation, I asked him if he'd be at the Twins Daily Meltdown again (I know he wasn't an announced guest, but you never know). He tried to play along, but he clearly had NO idea what I was talking about. Funny stuff...I guess for a professional athlete it all just runs together.

Is Pavano still coming?  He just cancelled Twinsfest for family reasons.  #AmericanIdle.

We heard about Pavano backing out yesterday (Friday) morning. Several members of his family are sick, so he wasn't able to make it.

We immediately worked with the Twins on this, and quickly 1991 World Series champ Mike Pagliarulo agreed to take Pavano's spot.

Laudner killed it. I laughed when so few "sabermatriciansians" raised their hands (even though when called on, I was off on Blyleven's total strikeouts by 200).

You were closer than Laudner was.
