And Mauer should have just pulled up and run into Conger. It's like getting the defender in the air in basketball -- just run into him, and it's an automatic foul.

It's way past time the Twins yank Pelfrey from the rotation and put him in the bullpen, where he actually could be useful.  2.28 ERA on June 7, 4.17 now.
