Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 How they lookin'? Dominant in every way.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Winston hasn't completed a pass yet.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Just saw the video of Rosario's dinger. It's totally ridiculous that a major leaguer would even swing at that pitch, much less hit it over the wall.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Christ Hunter, how slow can you be?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Dominant in every way. Good to hear. Someday maybe the same can be said about the Twins. And do we blame Plouffe for that double play?
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Why the **** do you take Duffy out here?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Good to hear. Someday maybe the same can be said about the Twins. And do we blame Plouffe for that double play? Nope, he has a baby. If it's female, it could get worse.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Why the **** do you take Duffy out here? 94 pitches, 5 walks, seems to be walking a tightrope. I don't mind it. Until I see Fien out there on the mound. <GULP>

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Really impressed with Duffy tonight.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Plouffe has now grounded into 23 double plays. The Twins single-season record for double plays grounded into is 28 in 1970 by Harmon Killebrew. Now you could say that Plouffe is in good company here, but ... Killebrew hit 41 homeruns and 131 rbi that year.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 8th, time for Trevor M....... well they did trade for Jepsen.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 one hit, 7 ks. Let the kid at least start the inning, he more than earned it.He was pitching on short rest IIRC.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 He was pitching on short rest IIRC.ah that's right. Either way it worked out, and he looked pretty great IMO
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Are you gonna be upset when they send him back to Rochester? They have to make a roster spot for Milone.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 No Save opportunity for Perkins. DOZIER 2 run HR!! 4-0
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 That was a really effective Sac bunt by Hicks
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Helloooooooo insurance runs!!! Nice to have ya back on the HR trail, Dozier.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I don't ever want to hear Bert talk about anyone coming out of the closet, no matter how innocent the intention
Twinfan603 Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I don't want to complain about balls and strikes with a 4-0 lead now, but that last pitch to Sano was at least 2 or 3 inches outside. That sucks because garbage calls that like aren't helping his K numbers.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Perkins still hasn't shaken his closer disease that he picked up at the All-Star game. Good thing he had a 4-run cushion coming in.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Come on now Perkins... No need to make this interesting
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 (Is Chief about? ...) Winnah!
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Come on now Perkins... No need to make this interesting At least he doesn't shudder and snort through the whole thing.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Go for the series win tomorrow boys. Gonna pick up a game in the wildCard race tonight
