70charger Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I haven't read a scouting report on Fiers, but he's throwing some crazy 68-70 MPH breaking stuff. That's gotta throw you off.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I just want to be clear... I am not a jinx After watching the Twins lose twice in Boston... I was able to watch the Twins win yesterday at Miller Park. The Jinx is obviously one of my drunk cousins.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Today is my first day off from work in two weeks. It's good to have a day off.

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 What's with the busy weekends? You on a deadline?Yes, multiple deadlines plus I had a big meeting out of town. Tomorrow I am hoping that a huge deal closes so that I can focus on closing a deal that I have been working on for almost a year.

Maybe soon you can kick back with a beer and a ballgame on a nice vacation, like it seems most here are doing already.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Yeah CRArko, that was the first thing that popped into my head when I first heard of the drunk cousins. Cept there's only two... so, Darrel and Darrel I reckon.

Just an update on my starting at ground zero but seemingly progressing cooking skills. I made the best scrambled eggs I ever had this morning. A big chunk of butter... 4 eggs... And cheese. I was a master... Lightly scrambling them with a spatula. I had no idea if Low meant 2 or 4 on the knob but damn... It worked.
70charger Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 My wife is skyping into a baby shower in Minneapolis right now, and since our internet is bad she asked if I would stop streaming the game. I turned the volume off. Let's see how long it takes until she notices.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 I didn't know baby showers were in the forecast.

The world is your oyster...just don't use heat on it.

There is more than one way to skin a cat though. Scrambled eggs can be awesome cooked in a screaming hot pan, but you have to be fast and get them out after a couple seconds.
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 It's guess the the strike zone day. Gotta love rotating umps who can't call balls and strikes.
