Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Leave work at 4-0, get home at 4-4. Very nice.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 My wife will be home in 10 minutes, then I have to drive to Sioux Falls. This is one instance I hope she takes forever to get ready.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 It's like game 2 of the double header now.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Right on MLB's homepage. Amazing. I have a feeling that it has something to do with the Red Sox, not the Twins. But I'll take it.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Wow, Tigers lost again. Seven in a row now. Sucks to be them.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 You Driving? You control the radio. Tune in to Provus (don't suppose you can avoid Gladden). Yeah, we are driving. I've already had a couple beers, so she is driving, which means I have about a 75% chance of arriving in one piece.
James Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Wow, Tigers lost again. Seven in a row now.Sucks to be them.It sure does. Coincidentally, the Tigers losing seven in a row makes me happy.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Hicks has been really aggressive lately.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I really like it when Madre Dos chimes in to talk about the kids she hosted (see the Arcia thread).
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Just getting caught up here.. For those watching the game, did Milone just have an off game? I mean I wasn't expecting 11-12 ks out there like AAA but 0 today??
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 If you have 32 guys in the bullpen you may as well use all of them.

I mean I wasn't expecting 11-12 ks out there like AAA but 0 today?? He was not particularly sharp and there were a couple of innings where really good defense would have helped him out. Plouffe, in particular, has had a bad day. Maybe he needs a day off. There were some plays that were tough but makeable and he missed them all. Looked a little fumble fingers in the field today. Maybe trying to do too much?
David HK Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Thanks, BoSox, for that baserunning clinic this inning....
David HK Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Heh.... I just woke up in time to catch that!
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I confronted a young skin-head when he road raged on my wife. when I got out of the car, he said, "what are you going to do old man. The look on my face disarmed him immediately, and he got back in his truck, muttering something about, me possibly having some crazy old man strength. Weren't you a linebacker back in the day?

Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Weren't you a linebacker back in the day? Fullback...same thing.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Fullback...same thing. Fullbacks are good people to have in your foxhole when things look bleak.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Fullbacks are good people to have in your foxhole when things look bleak. Fullbacks and Marines. You can always count on 100% effort.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 We all know Plouffe will get the winning hit. I'd prefer that Hicks just hit one out here.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 They just said Hicks was a better hitter from the left side. That would be news.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I'd prefer that Hicks just hit one out here. Bah, humbug.
