Someone suggested adding caramel and rum to something the other day.  I am thinking that could be a  universal suggested and added to anything.  

I'm thinking vanilla ice cream.

Yeah, next time I make my banana smoothie I'm going to drop the oatmeal and add the caramel and rum. It will make a fine dessert. And I could make a shake out of it be halving the milk and adding some ice cream.

I haven't had a smoothie in an absolute coon's age...and for once I'm not exaggerating, either. I get plain yogurt every day, but a while ago I had the bright idea to spice it up with a little cinnamon, maple syrup, and pecan pieces. It makes a world of difference.
