formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Ha! No! The cello is a much more beautiful instrument! My response to my friend. To you, HARDLY. No instrument can rival the flute in its clarity and be-a-u-tiful tone. Don't even go there. I like to be obstinate.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I agree 110%That means you disagree 90%

formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Good save on a near jinx. Hm, so she got the save? Does she get Perk's salary too?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I agree 110%So I've heard. What are you working on? Any fun repertoire? Most fun thing I ever played ... George Crumb Sonata ... and playing in a quartet when we did Schubert's 'Death of a Maiden' quartet
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 NWTwinsfan ... one of the doormen in my building is a huge Mariners fan. We talk baseball a lot, so it's going to be fun to see him this week if we hold onto this game! That's awesome. I'm going to have fun at work tomorrow...I took a lot of crap this week leading up to this series. Also, like clockwork, the Twins win the two games I don't attend.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 Please note: The Twins won both games where I did the thread intro. I should retire now with an unblemished record.

Circus Boy Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Chief's ultra-helpful flippancy aside do you mean the photos some users have for their accounts? (E.g. my Haight-Ashbury street sign?) You can do that yourself if you want.Locate some suitable picture you like, for instance via a Google image search.Mouse-click the URL of the picture (usually has JPG or GIF as the file extension) to copy, to paste later. (Or, you can plan to just type the lengthy URL by hand when the time comes.)Then in another window go to your TD "My Settings" page by clicking on your username near the top of most TD pages. Near the top of General Settings you should see "Change my photo...". Click that.Enter the URL from above into the form. Click Done.Check any page where you have posted, to see how it looks.Admire.Wait to hear murmurs of admiration from others. (And keep waiting, and waiting...) I'll try. But it sounds so hard!

Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 That means you disagree 90%Hardly, it means I went Zach Parise in agreeing with Chi.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Yes, because 200 is the new 100.Haha, you got me. I knew you should have been a rocket scientist!
formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Hardly, it means I went Zach Parise in agreeing with Chi.Explain yourself. Or should we let this pass as a little private joke?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Yes, because 200 is the new 100. That should be proof enough for y'all.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Why did always33 change her picture? To show Circus Boy it could be done?
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I see that Scott Baker had a good Dodgers debut but lost.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Why did always33 change her picture? To show Circus Boy it could be done?Wail.... that was an accident. Good call though. Was it worth it fellas? Maybe it was to draw attention to myself so you'd be more likely to admire me when I do change it though.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Don't attend any more Twins games this season.Shouldn't be a problem....they don't play here again this season.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Okay, how 'bout this?Would "I'm nuts" be better?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I am working on Bach's first suite. George Crumb wrote "The Haunted Landscape" didn't he?Yes. Among other things. Check out the Solo Sonata for Cello.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Meanwhile, back on the Baseball Sea, the Sirens are singing a bea-oo-tiful song to the Twins: "Rubberband."
