It's all about the future, just like Hunter and Santana said, it is always about the future. If the Cubs sign or trade for an expensive player, does that now mean one team has done so, so now it would be ok?

 

I think the Red Sox just spent a boatload of money, does that count as one GM that spent big after a terrible year?
