Great headline!

Yup. But is he a prospect? I'd like to get an update from the great prospect gurus in our community on Wheeler. How many starters with a K% of 13.4% in High A become successful major league pitchers?

"Logan Darnell pitched just two innings, gave up one run (three earned) ..."

I just had to be snarky.

Errors happen, even with umpires, but those don't get recorded in a stat sheet.

I guess, and this might just be me, but I read these for updates on the day in the minors, not a discussion of if every player is a prospect or not.....look, jokin and I can disagree!

We may see Rosario at Target Field before the year is done.

Wouldn't it be nice if one of the Rochester starters showed some consistancy.

Given what has happened at the big league level, I think it's fair to say that Rosario likely would be with the Twins right now in CF if he hadn't been suspended and just performed at a minimally acceptable level in the minors. Whether he gets called up now or not remains to be seen, but I can easily see him getting at the very least a September call-up, provided all is forgiven and he performs OK.

Exactly. He is supposed to be fast and his minor league numbers are better than Hicks were. I have not given up on Hicks but I was always a little more intrigued by Rosario. Still hoping Hicks gets it together and next year we see our fastest outfield ever in Buxton, Hicks, and Rosario.

I agree with this. I think he would have been up by now if not for the suspension.

Yup.makes me sad.

Well I see it like this: don't be toooo sad. By him being suspended it didnt give the Twins the opportunity to rush him ala Hicks. Granted they're not the same people but its easy to see the Twins promoting too fast out of desperation and poor roster construction. If he would have earned it then that's a whole different story but that's too many ifs for me.
