    Neifi Perez from the 2002 Royals had one of the worst seasons ever with an OPS+ of 45.5. Simmons was 57, he was horrendous this year. Whether judging him by his batting average or number of COVID infections.

    These athletes are supposed to train, eat well and be ready to play. When was the last time you went to the grocery store? That **** is expensive. Your lack of of understanding what actual living wages are is sad. These wages suck and do not place these athletes in the best position to succeed. Your lack of any awareness about that aspect is alarming. Let them live 5 deep in a ****hole, who cares? They can go work at McDonalds. Why try to create an environment that lets people succeed. I’m sure that will have no barring on the future of MLB.

    The fact that we as Americans seem to be fine with companies treating their employees like crap, I think is one of the underlying reasons why MLB has been able to treat their minor leaguers so poorly. For those that are fine with the way the minor leaguers are treated, and you're fine with them being paid so poorly are you OK with the fact that teams are not putting them in the best possible position to succeed?

    The defense knew Cleveland was going to run and couldn't do squat to stop the Browns. It should have been a two touchdown game if Mayfield didn't suck. Any why doesn't Blake Lynch tuck in his damn shirt either?!

    I’m not sure signing a 32 year old, who will be 33 when the season starts pitcher who just posted a career low K% and velocity, who also missed a lot of time with nagging injuries is adding stability.

    That is discernibly false, yes, with the variants the vaccines especially the mRNA vaccines are not as great at preventing spread as they were initially but they still do prevent spread in those are fully vaccinated. It isn’t 100%, but the mRNA vaccines do slow the spread. Whether due to lower viral load in the fully vaccinated person, they would be less likely to spread to others.

    Wow, just wow. Blaming the poor minor leaguers for bad budgeting. Why do billionaire owners get such a pass from fans? For the cost of a rule 5 drafted player or two, an MLB team could help subsidize a huge chunk of rent for their players.

    What year was it that Jeff Suppan turned into Cy Young for the Cards in the playoffs? That crazy BS still sticks with me. Of the year the Angels won and got contributions from such no names.

    Life is what you make it, and I’m making myself irritated by Gordon and his 600 OPS not playing SS and being stuck into LF.

    Can we still blame Jeremy Hefner for the poor pitching? And it was well established when Johnson was hired he was going to run the pitching. Incorporating the analytics side with his instruction. Which he had done while coaching in college.
