  1. Allen, Jackson, Mahomes, Stafford, Daniels and Hurts are the QBs left in the playoffs. I'd swap out Burrow for Hurts, but otherwise you might have the list of the best QBs in the league, and I don't think that's a coincidence. You can't have one of the average QBs or even one of the good QBs, you have to keep trying until you have one of the elite QBs.
  2. A good time? Just kidding. We do board games too.
  3. Not so fast. We don't know where Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson will end up next year.
  4. This is worse than the Vikings loss to the Rams. And I'm pretty confident this would have also been the Vikings fate had they scored that #1 seed.
  5. Yeah, Brady hasn't stopped talking about it. I'd honestly say this might be an issue.
  6. I'll send a sympathy card.
  7. So this Washington offense looks really good. Yet the skill positions include one good possession receiver accompanied by a bunch of no-names, the TE is in AARP and they have the blandest RBs on the planet. While I'm cheering for them over Detroit, I'm sure as hell going to hope the WRs and RBs they draft this year are major busts.
  8. Maybe not with a Marriota pitch this time though......
  9. It was near the start of my love of watching this team let me down.
  10. Well if Washington is the 1987 Vikings, it would only be fair if the Vikings were 1987 Washington.
  11. He was a 3rd round pick and the 5th QB taken in the 2023 draft, but I liked him better than Will Levis who was the 4th. High bar, I know.
  12. If he's trying to prove he's not a virgin, he's not going a very good job at it.
  13. Hendon Hooker. 2nd year player out of Tennessee.
  14. Jameson Williams for Lewis Cine and Brian Asamoah?
  15. Well here's where I'm petty. The Vikings better be the next 'new' team to win the Super Bowl. Sorry other historical losers, get in line because the Vikings need to win it first.
  16. I get it, but I'm not tired of them winning the Super Bowl any more than I was tired of the Patriots winning it repeatedly. I was always, and still am, simply tired of the Vikings not winning it. I've got teams I absolutely do not want to win it all. As long as those teams all fail to win it, I guess that's my consolation prize for getting let down by the Vikings again.
  17. I honestly don't see it. I see the missed calls, but it seems to me every game has a half dozen of these at least. But I don't hate KC they way you guys do. I notice EVERY missed call when the Packers are playing.
  18. Agreed it's not consistent. And everyone's talking about it, which means that's probably the thing they'll emphasize next year. And then they'll find something else to bungle.
  19. As much as I criticize the officials, they aren't throwing games. That's pretty much the only thing that could crash this runaway trillion dollar industry.
  20. Yeah, that was a pretty good draft for Houston.
  21. Didn't they emphasize the illegal formation calls on tackles this year specifically because of KC?
  22. Then shoves his coach with both hands? I'm thinking he might not make it back on the field.
  23. It's really hard for me seeing the Jets, Bears or Raiders going back to a defensive HC. Not a lot of good looking offensive guys though so I suppose one of those teams might bite.
  24. **********Moderator Note************ Enough with the personal attacks. These comments are nowhere near on topic.
  25. https://badgerswire.usatoday.com/2025/01/17/wisconsin-football-xavier-lucas-miami-transfer-update/ So Wisconsin went and broke the transfer portal. Most of this is conjecture from PFT, but I don't know how you can argue with it. Wisconsin told this kid he can't leave (because of course they did, Wisconsin thinks they're soooo entitled) so the kid just called a lawyer who said, 'so what, they don't own you', he unenrolled and went to Miami. There is no way they, or any other school can stop this from happening. A transfer portal window? That's not legal, these kids can leave you school in the middle of October if they really want to. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/chaos-continues-for-college-football-with-apparent-collapse-of-transfer-portal Nice work Badgers. That was the only safeguard from the richest 12 or so schools from getting every player they want at will.
