  1. Yeah, I don't want my favorite team having to deal with the circus that will come with the player. So many ways to absolutely poison the locker room and fan base, all because of what his dad does and says.. As for his on the field ability; I think his ceiling is that of the dreaded 'game manager'. He doesn't have the big arm or elusiveness to be the improvising gun-slinger type. Probably a higher floor than the other QBs, but I don't see any chance he has the upside to carry a team to a championship, he just doesn't have the physical tools.
  2. I mean, Ward was the first to go. As a Viking fan I wouldn't want anything to do with Sanders and I'm about as liberal as you get.
  3. Thrilled Henderson went to the Patriots one pick before Chicago. I did not want him going to the Bears.
  4. This season? Man, I hate to be the one to tell you this after waking up from your three year coma, but he's actually been bad every year. Oh, and your wife left you and your dog died.
  5. There likely will still some really nice looking RBs in R3, but the guys I personally like, basically prospective pass catchers, will go even lower. Dylan Sampson and Brashard Smith. Jacquez Hunter might get the job done out in space too. I know they aren't the top names, but Henderson and Judkins won't be there when the Vikings pick next and a quick, pass catcher is what I'd want in a back..
  6. I liked Campbell and would have been happy with that pick, but ceiling isn't exactly something to evaluate with an OL. Do they even have a ceiling? He can't score more touchdowns or get more sacks or get more receptions. A pancake block isn't functionally any better than a normal block. Their 'ceiling' is all the same, did he keep the defender off of the RB or QB? This position is a pass/fail grade on every play. If anyone has some college info that says he can't do that as well as Booker or Zabel, I guess I'd be interested in that data.
  7. They always get the big named defensive guy who slides. Usually it's out of Georgia.
  8. Time for these guys to retire the indignant 'I can't believe this guy went when this other guy is still there!' bit. Like their opinion is consensus. Except then you look at another site and the guy who the first expert irrationally loves, is still listed as 15th in BPA.
  9. Is anyone complaining? Seemed like a well received pick here.
  10. I bet Washington goes with Burden or one of the OSU RBs. They're going to want to start giving Daniels some weapons.
  11. You're going to have to be more specific, you're talking about the Giants.
  12. Now I'm going to have to go through pages and pages of posts to brag about saying Dart was going before Sanders like four months before it was cool. But beer is making me lazy, so maybe tomorrow.
  13. Seems like a reach. Buuut, if this guy is a college tackle that will move to guard, maybe he's Darrisaw insurance.
  14. OK, I like Campbell and Henderson. Otherwise I'd trade down, but I could live with Emmanwori. Anyone but Will Johnson. If they pick another injured CB and then act shocked that he can't play, KAM needs to be shown the door.
  15. No Golden. I didn't care for him myself though. Seems like one of those guys you only use to run down the field but doesn't get used much otherwise. I like Luther Burden better. But would rather go TreVeyon Henderson if we're going the 'loaded offense' approach.
  16. I would enjoy that so much. I liked when he showed all the QBs that slid from his rankings over the years, and he's saying something like 'six of these 12 guys were all great!" And the most recent guy was Aaron Rodgers, and before that it was Brett Favre.
  17. When Deion goes on an accusatory, ill-informed, conspiracy-theory and largely unintelligible rant about his son sliding and how he's going to use his platform to make everyone's life miserable because of it, everyone is going to understand why no NFL coach wanted to touch Shedeur. "Oh, right, we probably didn't want that distraction on an NFL team......"
  18. What the heck, how many WR is TB going to run out on the field?!?!
  19. There goes Booker earlier than expected. Which, I mean, he's a stud Alabama guard with few things to nag about, so it probably should have been expected.
  20. Mel Kiper doesn't seem to be very tied into the pulse of the league any more. He's about three hours early talking about Shadeur Sanders, but that's all he's talking about.
  21. Right, and with a bunch of drunk, large, sweaty, loud 'sconies.
  22. Wow, this draft coverage is going to be intolerable.
  23. For sure, but it rarely happens. Except for Rodgers, for whom it happens all the time. My rhetoric was overly cautious, but it only ends up being a good look if the player actually turns out to be really good. McCarthy's pounding can't have any sway over the matter.
  24. Man, I'll be the bad guy here I guess? I have liked Booker, but if your QB is pounding the table to roster his HS buddy, eeesh, I'm not sure that's a good look, even if he's a good player. I know on the inside it's not the same, but from an outside perspective, that looks like full blown Aaron Rodgers. The bad kind of Aaron Rodgers. To clarify, I'm not saying McCarthy looks like Rodgers, I'm saying if the Vikings give him what he wants, it looks like they are enablers.
  25. -Egbuka does seem like the best Viking fit. He's a top college WR, but he has ALWAYS been the #2 at OSU. Not being the alpha is already in his wheelhouse. -Campbell is my guy, I'm glad to hear there's a legit shot! -Thank god they don't plan on drafting a CB high. They have had no skill at that, meanwhile they've been great at finding talent in free agency. Keep doing that. -I do like Booker. Surprised that (if?) Zabel is a smokescreen. This OL could use some versatility; do we even know if Darrisaw will be ready to start the season? -Yeah, as always. I'll wait to judge until we see who's on the board.
