The Baldelli Bagel - chopped liver and under-cured corned beef on a bed of Garlick, tucked into a moldy bagel that's seen it's better days. Sure to get you a couple days off.
I'm not a stats guy so here's a question I'd like some help with: How many games did Sano not win by striking out with RISP when the Twins were behind versus how many games did he "win" by smacking a moonshot to put the Twins in the lead and/or tie the game and the Twins eventually triumphed?
Is there a stat for that?
"The weather looks iffy from here (75 miles away) but there may be a window of dreary, but dry air to complete the game.:
Dreary but dry air reminds me of Latin class. Two years in all I could say was "Ubi est villa agricola." Wasn't until much later I discovered vino. Didn't mean to drag my feet.
Don't use gameday much and now I remember why. Plesac gone, reliever coughing up the hits, I think Miley still has a no-hitter going but I won't swear to it.
Cleveland vs Cincinnati - Plesac and Miley pitching. 8th inning both pitchers carrying no-hitters. Both pitchers over 100 pitches. Weren't they supposed to get the hook in the 6th??
Gloomy. Bringer of Rain, doesn't, but Sano creates a wind tunnel effect with his wild swings at the plate, Shoe blows and the bull pen steps in it. Chance of sunshine tomorrow.
The Angels DFA future Hall of Famer Pujols . We start Sano and Cave. Pujols .198/.250/.372 5 HR 12 RBI Sano .113/.299/.226 2 HR 4 RBI Cave .160/.241/.253 1 HR 11 RBI For Comparison: Tortuga .313/.308/.484 3 HR 11 RBI Gee! Should we sign Pujols? Just keep trotting Sano and Cave out there? Trade Tortuga for Pujols? Are the Angels that much better they don't need someone putting up numbers like Pujols? But the Twins need two guys worse than Pujol this season? Plenty of blame for FO and Rocco to share if you ask me.
"Senior Manager of Fan Experience Bob Moulette" ? What? How did I survive all those years as a Twins fan last century without having someone manage my experience?
