The best way to hold him accountable is to stop reading and stop clicking on his columns. I made the mistake of reading the first one when it was posted here. Won't continue doing that.
It is kind of weird but then I think it's better. One can go out and do the family picnic thing, or boat thing, or gathering thing of some sort thing ... and then catch the game in the evening before work the next day. I think Florida schools have already started, so it's not the last day of 'freedom' for school kids. That's already done. Edit: I should have read further. TheBOMisthebomb already said this.
I think my mind has changed to continue with variety and not go with just one person. While I might like one better than the other, I'm not sure I like anyone that much better to be 'the one' for a whole season.
Heh, not sure if you read a thread a bit ago 'What would your nickname be'. It was a take on the Nickname weekend in baseball. I suggested mine to be 'Sideways Photos.' Try posting photos that were taken in landscape orientation and not portrait.
I'm excited about thinking of the possibility that Gibson has really turned a corner. I was hopeful after seeing him in ST this year. I mean, if this is who he has become for real, who needs a trade? But ... I think I'll wait to see what he does through the end of the season. But I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Tonight's game was one to put us all in a good mood.
Was at the Miracle game tonight. It was a very good game to see. The last Miraclr game I saw 3 months ago also started Wells ... that one wasn't a good game to see. Will go tomorrow ... and hopefully on Tuesday for playoff game #1!
The result was nothing. What they did or didn't do behind the scenes is unknown. Yeah, semantics, but that's all I've got. And it's still just an opinion.
He pitched a good game tonight. I don't know the pitch count, but in 5 innings, gave up 2 H, 0 R and had 7 SO. I don't know enough about his opponents, either. But it was a nice game to see. Miracle won 4-1.
