  1. Which is why you can get an egg mcmuffin all day long now. Although haven't had one of those in ... decades. Prefer to make my own.
  2. Me, too. Er, watching the Jays broadcast, but not in vomit mode.
  3. I'll have y'all know, I did NOT cook chicken for dinner tonight.
  4. Moderator warning: Stop this back and forth bickering. Now. If you have nothing else to say about Falvey's pitching decisions, move along.
  5. Yep ... I have a sister in Vermont ... I think my family will all descent upon her. With a nice big back yard, it will be nice for viewing. And plenty of room for all of us to pitch tents as their house will be too small for all of us.
  6. To be fair, the OP does read like a Twitter tweet.
  7. I'm not sure what the first two are or mean, but yes to the third.
  8. I just got home from playing tennis ... just too tired to hurry and get myself to the game tonight ... I'll be watching at home.
  9. I don't like this. I might have to leave
  10. Crap. This is usually when I change channels
  11. Glad ours isn't the only manager to do that.
  12. Well, Esco needs to hit a home run to make up for that.
  13. It's actually kind of chilly out tonight. Only 60-something.
  14. Thereabouts is where I took the photo
  15. As spot on were all the comparisons Blake made and made me laugh, this was also really funny, except he needs a long beard.
  16. I'm not sure what your point is but I think comparing Wrigley to the Alamo is funny and not a good analogy. I get the nostalgia people have for Wrigley and I acknowledge it's history as an historical baseball landmark, but as a modern era ballpark to sit and watch a game, it's still a dump.
  17. Heh, one more thing, your analogy to the Alamo is funny. The Alamo isn't trying to be a Holiday Inn; it's preserved as an historical place that doesn't continue to serve its original purpose. Wrigley still tries, and it's still a dump.
  18. It's been almost 40 years since I've been to Fenway, so I can't really judge. And I did say other than practically being a national monument to baseball as an acknowledgement to the historic place it is, but as far as watching a game, nope. Even if you do manage to get tickets that don't have some obstruction, it's just a horrible stadium from its location and accessibility to the dankness. Blecht. No thank you. I avoid Wrigley when I can. And I'm not a huge fan of Guaranteed, either, it's bland, nothing-specialness, but it's still has good sightlines from most locations and still has good amenities.
