I hate prognosticating because I'm usually really bad at it. Starting 9: C - Garver 1B - Kirilloff 2B - Polanco 3B - Donaldson SS - FA signing LF - Larnach CF - Buxton RF - Kepler? I don't know about bench players or who will share positions, but maybe Gordon, Rooker and ??? are there? Kepler is a ? because he could be an off-season trade candidate. I also think Arraez could be (should be) traded as well.

Do it. Minor leaguers are already doing it. As more minor league pitchers graduate to the majors across the league, it shouldn't be a big deal to start enforcing it. More and more will be used it as time progresses. But get rid of 7-inning games, please!

Duff striking out the number 2, 3 and 4 hitters was pretty amazing, too, imo.

The only concern for Donaldson is his health ... and that was a concern when we signed him and the Twins knew it, too.

I have decided that this thread needs a break. I'll reopen it at a later date but for now we are spinning our wheels, arguing about what is/isn't evidence, bringing into it who said what when where how ... enough for now. Take a breath. Regroup.

yep ... was just coming to post this here ... and I hope that they give Gordon those 3 games at SS ... or at least 2 of 3.

I appreciate the acknowledgement, and I wasn't trying to throw it in anyone's face, and whether or not they are truly 'lesser', as some here have indicated, I think those were championships that excited the fanbase and the city, which is why I mentioned it. Honestly, I don't follow basketball at all, either WNBA or NBA, and I don't live in Minnesota, but I still heard and read about their successes, so, they garnered some attention, which is why I mentioned it. I don't think it's completely true that Minnesota is completely devoid of 'happiness' since '91, but I get the general gist of the 'major 4 men's sports' in Minnesota being devoid of bringing us happiness.

So sorry you had to go through this! You story stands as an example that this is not over yet. I'm glad you were vaccinated for as bad as this was for you, it could have been worse ... glad it wasn't.

    I've heard that one before

The Lynx won the championship in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 ... so, no, it hasn't been since 1991.

Unless we see him go on the IL my guess is we will. His next start will likely get pushed back, though. But yeah ... as I said in my post, I said basically the same thing.

Boy, I wish this season was over already ... almost a 'We can't have nice things No. 1741' post. Don't know if Ryan will go to the IL or if he will be 'day to day.' Or will they just shut him down for the season? Ugh, hope he's okay and can get in one more game. You can update here. Followed by:
