    So ... baker's dozen ... if you order a dozen roses, they very often give you 13. If you like roses, and I do, that's pretty nice. There is a 13th floor in my building, and it goes by 13. They didn't skip the number and label it 14, they call it what it is. I remember when I bought my place, on the 11th floor, I wondered aloud to my realtor who would want to live on the 13th floor. She said that there are people who actually want to live on the 13th floor. They either are superstitious in a different way, or they snub superstitions. Jason's mask ... I thought that was the Captain Kirk mask, but that was the mask worn by Mike Myers in Halloween. Either way ... hockey mask, Captain Kirk (William Shatner) mask ... it's all Canadian to me. Prime rib ... Brian ... the next time you are in town, we'll head to the burger bar. They make a burger out of ground prime rib that is so tasty and juicy. I'm not a big meat-eater, but I could eat one of those a few times a week.

    That was THE BEST movie ever! Well, okay, maybe not ever, but I was sitting in the theatre and in the end when the little girl was finally sad and said, tearfully, 'I miss Minnesota.' I said to myself, 'Oh, honey, so do I!'

    A second 1-0 win in a row for the Miracle. Even though I'm in town, I wasn't able to go, but sounds like it was even a better game tonight than last night. Initially I had thought Romero was pitching last night and was sorry to miss him.

    Yeah, I know. Sadly will have to miss the big event but would have loved to get a Hillary bobblehead. I can't imagine they will have 1000 people show up given last night's attendance.

    I'm in Fort Myers right now and was at the Miracke game last night. That video doesn't come close to showing how great a catch that was by Tanner English.

    Perhaps he has tried, but that is just not the type of hitter he is or can be. Perception is one thing, actuality is another. Sometimes they are the same, but unless you know for sure, and I suspect you don't, then I think your dislike is misplaced. If your perception is true, then it's still up to the manager to bat him in the appropriate place, and that's not what happens. If he won't or can't adjust, then the manager is wrong to continue batting him there. Period. And I think your dislike of Joe for that is still misplaced, with all due respect.

    Yes. And the forecast in the OP says that the percent chance of rain increases throughout the game.

    Those weren't dumb reasons for getting detention. Those were dumb actions that earned you detention. Subtle difference I know.
