    That was taken an hour before first pitch, but like yesterday, still plenty of empty seats

    He was detained at customs on his way here for ST one year. Nothing was said publicly but the conjecture was he had something in his belongings or on his person that was a no no. He was off the team soon after. Can’t remember the timing of all this but I do remember there was a customs-immigration issue

    Not a great game. Twins played several MiL pitchers. Not sure who all the Pirates players were. And then there was the typical bases loaded, one out situation where the Twins scored one run … because the pitcher of the other team hit a batter when bases were loaded, not because anyone got a situational hit. Pretty boring game all in all. But I’ll give it a go again tomorrow.

    That was my take … why would the opposing team’s coaches say anything? The only thing I can think of is that what he did, if indeed he did, is just so egregious they needed to say something

    When I took that pic it was still a good hour before the game start. But it is a light crowd. Plenty of open seats

    Honestly, I think this was as much Correa as Buxton, maybe more so. Up until Correa was here, I didn’t really think of Buxton as a leader. But the chemistry between the two I think forged them both into being good leaders together.
