    Nice to see Rodriquez activated. Hopefully he can stay healthy and get an opportunity this season with the Twins.

    Crawford is who I would want the Twins to target in a trade with the Phillies. There's potential for him to play in the MLB this season.

    No. Why would I ever want to do that? What a weird question to ask someone. Why would I ever hope a twins player gets injured.

    Prior to this season he's thrown a total of 58 innings across 5 years. They have to try and build his arm strength back up... It would be incredibly dumb to let him go out for 7 innings and 100 pitches each time out. It would have likely been back on the IL by now.

    Holland looks like he could be next in line to be called up. He was solid in 40+ games last year at AAA and is hitting well again since he's been back from injury.

    Strong start to the season for sure! Hopefully he continues to play well and gets a deserved promotion to AA in June.

    Are they ever going to let Zebby pitch more than 5 innings? Only 71 pitches and strikes out the final three batters faced.

    It all depends on the return. I think the Twins should be taking all calls and seeing what the offers are. Can they get a legit catching prospect who's in AA or AAA? Can they get a middle of the order outfield bat? Those are the two position types I would consider in a trade.

    I'd rather the Twins use their pitching depth to trade for a good catching prospect than a bat only 1st basemen.

    If Lewis wants to be a third basemen and doesn't want to put in the work to play 2nd base, then he needs to stop making so many errors. He was NOT good at 3rd last season. Based on the smallish sample size Lee is the far superior fielder and thrower from 3rd base. It doesn't really matter to me who ends up where but if a player develops the yips from 3rd base and is unwilling to move to a different position to help the team then I don't want them on the Twins.

    There is only 5 spots in the MLB rotation and the Twins currently have Lopez, Ober, Ryan SWR, Paddack, Festa, and Matthews all basically ready for the MLB. They also have the following pitchers either already at AAA or ready for it Morris, Raya, Culpepper, Lewis. Six of those guys ready for the Twins rotation are either signed long term or have team control for a long time. There are only so many spots available and before some of these other guys potentially flame out they should be used in trades.

    The price SD paid Chicago a few years ago. Do you know how many years of control SD was getting at the time? The price to acquire him should depend on that. I don't know if I'd want to trade Ober or Ryan for 1 year of Cease. I'd also be hesitant to trade Festa for 1 year but any of the other pitchers at AAA I'd be ok trading depending on what the remainder of the trade looked like.

    I mentioned this yesterday on multiple articles and it likely means the brothers have already been somewhat vetted by MLB, which could speed up the process in buying the Twins. Would the MLB help facilitate the purchase of the Twins by buying the brothers portion of the White Sox and then selling after the fact?
