  1. The Twins as of right now have the 6th best odds to win the lottery since a few teams are ineligible to pick in the top 10 again this season. It would be really nice to move into the top 2-3 spots.
  2. I understand he's going to get his chance since they traded for him, but I just don't see Outman working out. His high strikeout rate will never play at the MLB level and pitchers have figured out how to pitch to him. The Twins probably also want to see if Larnach can have a good end of the season, so his value increases.
  3. DH and left field are probably the two that make the most sense especially with Roden injured for the rest of the season.
  4. At what point does Eeles get a shot in the Majors? He was great last season and has been playing very. well the past 45 games or so.
  5. In an article from The Athletic by Dan Hayes and Brittany Ghiroli: The Twins were working with a group to purchase the team 100% and then ripped the rug out from under them by announcing minority owners would be purchasing a portion of the team. Sounds like the minority owners were willing to purchase their portion at a higher eval rate than the group who was looking to purchase full ownership, which is why they went with the minority ownership group. I just hope it's not a couple of equity firms that are the minority owners. Sounds like we will find out in the coming weeks who they are.
  6. 100%. His poor showing this season is 100% driven by his injury and it doesn't make any sense to trade him this offseason because of it. And if the Twins do end up trading Joe Ryan or Pablo Lopez this offseason, it would be even more likely Ober stays in the rotation.
  7. Yea, SWR is definitely a bullpen candidate since he doesn't have great strikeout numbers. I can see Preilipp moving the to bullpen next season but only in the second half and only if the Twins are in playoff contention (HaHa). Otherwise there is no reason to move him to the bullpen as he's performing well overall in his first full season. I don't know that ERod has much more to prove in AAA other than staying healthy. If he comes back this season, I'd love for him to get a few games with the Twins just to get the experience. I don't see any reason to bring Larnach back next season either, especially after trading for Roden.
  8. Bradley or Able are much more likely to shift to the bullpen than Ober.
  9. Also, has Kyler Fedko turned himself into a legit prospect? He struggled last year at AA, but in repeating AA this season has put up very good numbers. He was promoted to AAA a few weeks ago and hasn't skipped a beat.
  10. I think both should be pushed up to AAA. The Saints have 36 games left in their season, and it would be great to get them roughly 30 this season. They get a taste of AAA and will know what it's like going into next season.
  11. If Ryan is traded I'd much rather try and complete a trade with the Mets. They have four very good prospects (Two position players and two pitchers) at either AA or AAA. EDIT: Apparently I didn't read far enough as you've already posted this. Ha.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if Culpepper and Jenkins end up promoted in the near future either.
  13. You have to wonder if the season would be different if Keaschall hadn't broken his forearm. The kid just brings energy to the team that they've been lacking.
  14. According to Dan Hayes, Jax requested the trade after seeing all of the other trades that were made. Twins’ Griffin Jax requested a trade, and what I learned about the club’s fire sale, Part 1 - The Athletic
  15. https://frontofficesports.com/minnesota-twins-trade-deadline-team-sale/ I’m not sure how credible this news source is but it sounds like a sale in progressing and we could find out more in August. If true it would be a boost to the fans. It would also make sense that they sold so much off at the deadline if the sale is progressing.
  16. MLB has him at 8. His numbers are solid this year.
  17. Man I'm hoping for the complete opposite. I want them to shut Lopez down for the season and lose as many games as possible. Get the highest draft pick they can.
  18. Here’s a way-too-early mock draft for 2026 If anyone is interested in what next season's MLB draft looks like. Some very good looking position players at the top of the draft.
  19. Anyone know if the 2026 MLB draft is supposed to be a strong one or not? Twins currently are in the 9th draft slot, and will likely finish lower after all of these trades.
