  1. Awesome information. Provides a great update on the guys I hated to see leave...They didn't turn out so well.
  2. Moran and Duran. Upside is high for both.
  3. Great idea Brock! Thank you! Just a quick question. Do we get badges for replying to this post? Chief says we're all winners for participating.
  4. Everyone relax. Here's the predictions that matter most and will come true: 1. Twins regular season record: 99-63 2. 2021 ALCS Champions 3. 2021 World Series Champions Go big or go home! Go Twins!!!
  5. This is a great deal for all parties involved. Like it a lot!
  6. I've seen the 100 plus loses during the season. I'll take a pass on seeing that again for a year or two.
  7. So pathetic I could puke. No spark, no nothing. Lifeless as usual.
  8. Great article! Thanks for putting it together. It was good to get a summary of Buxton's prior health issues and learn a little about his shoulder injury. By the way, a .230 projection from PECOTA is totally nuts. I'm going to make my own projection for Buxton: .288 in 2020 I can project whatever I want because I'm a biased, hopelessly dyed in the wool Twins fan. Scratch my prior projection of .288. I'm now projecting Buxton with .292 in 2020. Oh, and he'll start in 142 games.
  9. This was a great pickup for the Twins. Excited to watch him pitch this year. Is it opening day yet?! I can hardly wait for the season to start.
  10. Duffey was a huge surprise to me last year. As a starter I always thought he looked timid or scared. As a reliever he looks more in control and certainly throws the ball harder and faster than as a starter. I've done a 180 on the kid since his original arrival. The pen will be fun to watch this year.
  11. Great article. Thank you... I'm going to bet a few $$ at 22-1. Can't believe it's that high. You uncovered a value investment (bet) if I ever saw one. Thanks!!
  12. I'm all in! Hook, line and sinker! Hopefully his diet discipline was better than mine over the holidays. Let's go Sano!
  13. I think this off-season could have been much better. Rating it a C I think is being kind. I would have preferred in the absence of signing an "impact" pitcher or missing on JD we would at least extend Buxton, Sano and Berrios. I suspect if the front office doesn't pull off a decent FA signing they extend the big 3.
  14. Please sign Josh. Let's make a lineup of hitting freaks. If we can't get a great SP might as well roll the dice on the offense. I'd watch that!
  15. I've awoken from my winter hibernation to say, "fantastic news!!!" let's get this machine warmed up and ready for a big 2020!!
  16. Great article. My sister has been in the Marlins front office for almost 20 years now. She has some great stories about being a women in MLB.
  17. Great News! Way to go Rocco! Please row the boat to a WS championship next year. Sorry! Wrong team. Please navigate the ship to a WS victory in 2020.
  18. This is so ridiculous. Our city has waited a long time to get back to the playoffs and MLB rewards us with this? I always thought MLB was trying to grow their fan base and keep people engaged with the sport...Unfortunately for me, Mediacom doesn't carry MLB either. Because of the stupidity of MLB making this decision, the baseball gods will not be happy. Twins will sweep this series and knock out the team with the biggest television audience. Bye, bye, New York Yankees! See ya next year!
  19. The Yankees home run totals should be followed by an asterisk. Half their games are played in a softball field type of park. That will benefit us probably more than the Yankees while we are there. Right now I think our bullpen has the advantage over the Yankees pen. It's gonna be a fun series to watch though. Common sense says there will be a lot of high scoring games, the reality is it will probably be scores like 1-2, 2-1, 3-2...dramatic home runs sprinkled in here and there...Something like that. I might start self medicating Thursday evening to make sure I'm ready for Friday night.
