    Many of you might want to look into a device called a super box. I live in CA and have 2. Few hundred bucks but worth it. Watch pretty much anything and very mobile.

    I think it's a conversation of Buxton vs. Max. Can't keep both for that $. If we can find a suitor for Buxton...then I offer Max the QO. 50/50 if he takes it or signs one more contract elsewhere. I could see Buxton waiving no trade clause to play for Acuna-less Braves in hometown.

    Out of curiosity...from the people on here who don't like the trade: what would you have traded for a player similar to Polanco (and salary)? Would you have wanted that player in the first place? It very much looks like we came out, at the very least, even on the entire deal. And we have potential from who we received. How much potential does Polanco realistically have left?

    I mentioned this comp a while back when he was in the minors...but I see alot of Carlos Pena in his offensive game. Pena hit .230 with nearly 300 HR...

    Dude gives me some Ozzie Albies vibes. Good eye, excellent patience, can hit to all parts of the field...and with power. He might be a quick riser.

    Just an idea man. I'd say Varland has a pretty good shot of joining their rotation. I think that is worth something. He's got a few years of cheap control. That's worth something. They get a year out of Max...like I said, to bridge their young OFs (like Colas). Even if Max is mediocre for them, they will recoup a little more. I find value in that as well.

    This is why Varland would be involved...so essentially they would have 2 lotto tickets and a potential SP in their rotation.
