  1. How about MN native Jake Irvin??? I'd do Festa, Keaschall, Larnach or Kiriloff, and a lotto ticket or two.
  2. Hardest hit ball you've seen live? I was about 12 when Gary Sheffield hit a liner at me...450 ft away. You?
  3. Sorry if I've missed this. Why is Larnach our #3 hitter so often???
  4. It would take a REALLY good return and maybe some creative thinking...like maybe for a guy such as...Jeffrey Springs?
  5. Fine if you're going to call it that close...then call runners 5 ft out of baseline interfering with 3B.
  6. Hell...if they won't bring Lee up maybe we can trade Farmer for Polanco??
  7. Rocco. You need to be done. So, so bad. Our players bust their asses. They deserve better decisions from their manager. Pissing away playoffs.
  8. I talked a lot of crap about Correas offensive game and how I thought he'd do poorly this year. I'm not eating crow. I'm drinking crow light all night long. It is delicious.
  9. Don't let it Festa. Get ridda Farmer and Margot.
  10. Let's make the first trade and set the market!!
  11. Arizona fans would be mighty pissed if they traded Gallon for anything less than...2 gallons.
  12. We have lots of nice guys in the 10-20 range!
  13. Much appreciated. I've been on disability and I'm a little behind.
  14. You're a special human.
  15. White Sox are a mess. Dirty, stinky socks. To put it lightly. At 15-48, they are by far the worst team in MLB, and on Thursday night it was announced that they are “actively seeking packages” for their superstar center fielder Luis Robert Jr., per MLB insider Jon Heyman. Normally these kinds of trades are not made between division rivals...but are they a special case and in need of a major overhaul? In about 1500 ABs, Robert is hitting .274 with 81 HR (about 18.4 ABs/HR). He also has good speed, with 49 SBs in that span, with an OPS of .822. He is also injury prone. Would it be worth going after him? Or is this Byron Buxton part II and not worth the risk? His contract is reasonable the next 2 years, with 2 club options afterwards. We have the pipeline to do it. Thoughts?
  16. Anyone else hate the term sweeper?
  17. One of catchers' best skills: not hitting the batter on a strike 3 throw.
  18. Reverse jinxes work every time.
  19. Ash.. you got to see a Rolls Royce. How was it?
