Part of the cycle that leads us this point is that these guys get hyped so early in the process. It feels like Buxton and Sano have been thrown out as saviors for 10 years now, which makes it hard to stay patient.
  2. theBOMisthebomb
If we call him up who would then take the bench?
  3. theBOMisthebomb
It is great that you enjoyed Target Field so much during your visit. Come back again and visit soon.

Engle was the first name to come to mind. He always sucked.

I just don't see Park using an injury as an excuse. He seems honorable as a person and making a lame excuse after the fact doesn't seem like how he would have been raised or acceptable in his culture.

"Over the last 10 games, we have our first winning record this season at 6-4. And since May 25 we're 18-21 -- not great, but certainly better." Thanks (slap to the face). I needed that.

Wait, isn't the TV schedule set out in advance before the season even starts? Why would FSN want fewer Twins games as it seems the Twins would be their highest rated show by far, even if the Twins had a winning percentage of .000. Miller's theory might be true yet seems odd and like you just don't care enough to research it.

Oh man I hope Jepsen could thrive in independent ball because it's doubtful another mlb team would want him.

Kevin Jepsen - the next St. Paul Saints closer?!?! Double good news for those of us who follow both the Twins and Saints.

If Gardy is brought back as manager or GM then this Twins fan since the early 1980s is vamoose. What an insult to the fans putting Gardy in a leadership role would be.

Stunning. TR comes across as seriously delusional with these comments.
  12. theBOMisthebomb
It will be nice to fire up the " It's all Mauer's fault" talk once again.
  13. theBOMisthebomb
A-Rod's 2015 grand slam was tough to take.

"Having 6 kids crammed into two bedrooms and one bathroom between them was clearly the work of an architect that just didn’t care anymore." Don't forget that later on they converted both Mr. Brady's office and the attic into bedrooms.

I am old enough to remember this when it happened and Hrbek should have made it - no questions asked. Herbie was also a great (and underrated) fielder. My thoughts are that Hrbek going off like that was an old school motivation technique or an excuse to go fishing every year at All-star break time.

Sano to third, keep Kepler in right. Sorry Plouffe, time to grab some bench and act like a professional (I am sure he will).
  17. theBOMisthebomb
To be accurate, the bobble head needs a haircut and should be portrayed taking illegal substances and having been banned for 80 games and cashing a much too large paycheck.

It's just difficult to muster any sadness or sympathy for a guy who made $8 million in 11 years playing a fun game. If these guys try to hang on and get bounced around at career end at least they had fun doing it. Beats working 9-5 at a 'real job'.
  19. theBOMisthebomb
The FO is the absolute worst in baseball. They brought back Gardy. Case closed.
  20. theBOMisthebomb
    Buy low, sell high! Ummmm...
  21. theBOMisthebomb
He can't be worse than he was in April and appears to have done the work in AAA. We might have to be patient, this guy is supposedly the future.
  22. theBOMisthebomb
John Ryan Murphy or Buxton, why not?
  23. theBOMisthebomb
Jepsen looks scared out there this year.
  24. theBOMisthebomb
It would be cooler if they signed Marcy Grossman of Big Bang Theory popularity off the waiver wire.

Bring Torii back as a coach.
