    The biggest problem here is that Falvey is the one picking the next Mgr. He should have already been gone. Or maybe I'm a little butt-hurt because I just watched Louis Varland relieve Toronto's struggling starter in a Game 7, and slam the door on the M's. No way that guy should be a Blue Jay. Thanks, Derek. Side note- just after Louis gets the job done, here comes the godforsaken mlb green thing. Insult to injury. **Edit: OK, spoke too soon. Louie then gave up a dinger to Raliegh.... Uff da, never mind.

    Haw haw! Any occasion to celebrate yankee futility is a good day! And how about those Mariners, and that 2nd baseman of theirs? So glad we got the immortal Justin Topa and the sublime Tony DeSclafani instead of that guy!

    My trust is gone, long gone, long ago. I loathe the silver-spoonfed pohlad family with a white-hot temp that was previously reserved only for norm green. And no, those aren't little typos. Those greedy Eh-holes don't even deserve Capital Letters in my book. Heck, the old man first made his fortune putting farmers off their land during the Depression. Tells you about all you need to know.

    I'd sure like to welcome Brock and Danny C back, or either, if possible. Solid experience, and wouldn't break the pohlad's little piggy bank. And I really like Maton. He's into his 30s already, maybe can be had on a 2 yr deal or so? D Williams would be a good guy, too, but I'm old enough to remember another certain Yankee setup man that we booked for our closer... 🤔🤔🤔 And yes, put me in the Festa to the Pen camp.

    Welp, we made it through the Storm With a Name. Lotta trees didn't make it, and blocked some roads. One of our usual poop-walk paths got buried. Stuff got tossed around the village a bit, some garden stuff shredded, but hey, free bananas! 🍌 Thanks for the good wishes from Twinkie-Land!

    Youre right, he was a big power hitter who mashed a lot of taters in the minors, but never caught on in mlb. IIRC, a contemporary of that 80's Twins core.
