    Absolutely concur. He's got solid D, stings the ball, and speed and savvy to steal bases. Swap out Margot, like yesterday.

    Yes. The Twinks gave up on the wrong college hitter. And gee, just imagine Rocco platooning this RH hitter instead of the one of the Black Hole Three of Farmer, Margot, and Vasquez. Add Larnach to that mix after his SSS gets to be larger.

    Welp, just tuned in again- hey, hey! We've got a lead! I had the day's headline already in my noggin, but maybe the Meeting paid off! To wit: "Twins hold players-only meeting, decide baseball is just too hard. Team votes to shift registration from MLBPA to Pipefitters Local 539." But maybe they can put that off for a day. 🤔

    When you sit on your hands all winter, add "quality" the caliber of Margot, Santana, DeSclafani and Jackson, and continue to reek of flopsweat and fear when the yanks come to town, it should be expected. Having ownership come right out and say, "We're cutting back, and not getting anyone good, so expect to suck," that doesn't help much, either. And it's about time to lose the freakin sausage.

    Cripe! We gave that one away! Mr. Jackson, et. al.- holy moley, what a stink-o-rama. At least I was able to catch the White Sox SWEEP of Cleveland! *Edit*- (beg pardon, still one more game tmw.) Mike (the guy I REALLY wanted to pick up this winter) Clevinger shut them down! Then 'closer' John Brebbia (and guy you thought you saw at the laundromat last week) blew them down in the 9th! Still a half a buck out, but in danger of being passed by the Royals. First place if we didn't have that El Gasolino bullpen today.

    Heh... updating my little post- Also sweet today: Only a half a buck outta first place! Plus-- Both Sonny Gray and Lance Lynn getting greased by the Brewers on successive days! Off to the rugby now, with a song in my heart! 😅⚾👬

    "Chaos ensued. It's Griffin Jax, after all." 😂 Truer words never spoken. As soon as I saw him come in, I wondered where the H Stewart was, forgetting that he was the latest on the parade to the IL. Heart started pounding like being pulled by that chain going up the first climb on the High Roller at Valley Fair. Then, of course, the plunges, whirls, and loops, until finally, what Ol' Grif couldn't do with his arm, he managed to do with his @$$. Whew! This was made even sweeter by switching over to the White Sox game who took their 2nd in a row over the Clevelands! Chicken for breakfast today here in dreary, rainy Hong Kong. 🐔

    Yesterday, I was reminiscing and 'missing' the Hawkster on the White Sox broadcast. Today as I tuned in with their feed, I was perplexed, because I always enjoy Jason Benetti. I didn't know, or forgot perhaps, that he walked away and went with the Tigers this year! (Apparently dissed by some faceless, feckless WSox 'executive.') Steve Stone was spot on as usual, though! He was making CALLS! "Let's see if we can retire Willie Castro, who has been problematic..." BANG! Triple! 😂 Re: White Sox park being hitter-friendly: "It's not great, because it yields a lot of home runs..." BANG! Kiriloff goes yard! 😂🤣😂

    Sheesh... I almost feel bad for the White Sox! Almost.... 😂 What I do miss are Hawk's silences whenever the other team does something good: <Thing happening- clutch hit, HR, etc, runners circling bases> <silence> "Welp..." (sometimes a resigned sigh follows) 😅
