    Had to check out the farm just now- Don't worry, help is on the way! Royce 0-4 with 3 Ks. Varland, Winder and Jackson all got hammered by the Red Wings. And woof, Wallner putting up Kyle Farmer numbers. Martin-Lewis combined 0-6. But at least in upstate NY, they can still make their gig at Grossinger's on time! 😅

    He has been outstanding. First time in the AL- might take a bit for the "local" hitters to catch up to him, but I gotta believe it will happen. And holy moley- those Royals starters really have been carrying everybody- I thought we had it tough with our right-handed "bats"- the Axis of Futility of Farmer, Vazquez and Margot- but take a look at that Royal regular outfield: 😱 .166, .176, and .212! They're nearly a perfect match!

    Absolutely concur. He's got solid D, stings the ball, and speed and savvy to steal bases. Swap out Margot, like yesterday.

    Yes. The Twinks gave up on the wrong college hitter. And gee, just imagine Rocco platooning this RH hitter instead of the one of the Black Hole Three of Farmer, Margot, and Vasquez. Add Larnach to that mix after his SSS gets to be larger.

To wit: "Twins hold players-only meeting, decide baseball is just too hard. Team votes to shift registration from MLBPA to Pipefitters Local 539." But maybe they can put that off for a day. 🤔

    When you sit on your hands all winter, add "quality" the caliber of Margot, Santana, DeSclafani and Jackson, and continue to reek of flopsweat and fear when the yanks come to town, it should be expected. Having ownership come right out and say, "We're cutting back, and not getting anyone good, so expect to suck," that doesn't help much, either. And it's about time to lose the freakin sausage.
