    Just checking in- Wow, Louie "Duck and Cover" Varland has made it through 3 frames relatively unscathed! A good sign. Plus, that Rockies lineup- whew! There are Farmer/Vazquez-ian numbers! Maybe Louie can get em up and down a couple-three times!

    Rocco strikes again. You don't pinch hit Bux for the Black Hole of Farmer with 2 ducks in the pond?!? He goes to CF, Castro to 2B, and even if he whiffs, we at least make a run at it. Somebody posted this week about how Rocco can't wait to get his best hitters out of the game with pinch-hitting mysteries, why not at least try to get the worst hitters out of the way for a change?

    Royce is awesome. I've had Jeter vibes from him from the start. Watching his display so far has been amazing, and it's great hearing about how much it means to him. Makes me wonder how long it will be until he shows up in pinstripes too, pummeling us like all the rest of 'em.
