  1. OMG- where was the yankees' MVP, Phil Cuzzi, on that Lewis bloop?!? They really needed him there!
  2. Stability is supposed to be a positive word. So is consistency. But the "stability" of the pohlad chaos is just like the "consistency" of getting bent over by the yankees time after time. The deadline day was a dark day. This ridiculous, tone-deaf "open letter" begets a dark age. I agree with an earlier poster that the opposite of love is indifference. And that's exactly what the pohlads have done with my multi-decades of Twins love. Eff that whole family.
  3. Heh... wonder of wonders, a Twins team beat a yankees team! OK, it's the lowest possible level of the minors, but it counts!
  4. Yes, like all of us, I'm sick of losing to these guys. But I'm waaaay more sick of rolling over t*ts-up and embarrassing themselves and all of us who stick by them, time and again and again and again.
  5. I am not hate-watching this. I'm comedy-watching. And enjoying the chuckles I'm getting from the TD crowd. You guys and gals make it all bearable. 🤣
  6. 😂 I heard that too. Thought I had another tab playing in the background. Must be the yanks' sound effect. Now all they need is Darth saying "Twins.... I am your Daddy,"
  7. Justin pimping Brooks as perhaps next year's everyday shortstop. Stop.
  8. Jeepers, the yanks took out their 16 year old, and replaced him with a 17 year old.
  9. Swear to god, I'll definitely take the most inane, ridiculous 'baseball zens" over one play of mlbgreen.
  10. 'Cuz there ain't nobody else. Heh.... I've got the image of all the BP guys trying not to make eye contact with the coach. And then he points at one guy, and they go, "What, me?"
  11. Heh... consistency rears its ugly head again. Somebody said the other day that the Twinkies BP now seems just like a bunch of guys you went to high school with. Yep, pretty much.
  12. Against my better judgement, tuning in for a bit. Can't abide Corey, but I loathe Michael Kay, so maybe with the sound off. Holy cow, that yankee pitcher looks about 16! Larnach took him to school, didn't he?
  13. Probably to pitch to one batter, a la Coloumbe.
  14. We did take the Tiger and Royal series, but the Rockies, the Nats, we seem to be the club that other teams 'get well' against. White Sox must be lickin' their chops.
  15. Sheesh... Zebby has a lotta promise, but the gopher ballz.... yikes.
  16. Just catching up after early AM doggy jaunt. Let's see... yankee baserunners galore, 1st inning bomb, Twinkies 6 up 6 down, 5 of them K's. New era, new beginnings, but so far, at least there's some consistency. 😕
  17. And yet, The Mick still haunts the dugout. I'd much rather see McCusker take some whacks than Gaspar take more whiffs. 😑
  18. As has been the case with Royce on far too many occasions. 😅
  19. catching up with the replay a bit. Wow, Pierson did a good job, surprisingly. And Gulfa Tonkin battled his way through 2 big innings, well done! But Omg- why oh why are we "seeing what we have" in Mickey? Geez louise, if you suck at the plate, and you know it, you damn well better be able to get a bunt down- or at least recognize and don't try to bunt that waaaaay inside pitch that would have been ball 4. The old addage applies- the ball will find you. Or in his case, how many times does his spot come up in a key situation? Uffda.
