  1. Neither game is particularly close tonight. Pretty obvious what the ALCS is going to be
  2. Do they fire Aaron Boone after this?
  3. Annnnd we’re back after the rain delay
  4. Hey! I know that @Squirrel
  5. There will be options and I doubt Falvey will be in much of a hurry to bring one in. Feels like something him and Zoll will get around to in late Feb/early March.
  6. No doubt. If he has the chance to go back to Boston to chase a ring I wish him well. But if it's March and he's still on the free agent market, I would offer him that contract.
  7. Unpopular opinion, but I would look to bring back Vazquez on a 1 year $2-3 million contract. I'm fully aware he can't hit better than his current weight anymore. He still calls a good game behind the plate, and a valuable resource for the upcoming youth movement on the pitching staff.
  8. Even more unbelievable is Jaguars 4-1. Just like we all predicted before the season.
  9. Incredible. Maybe we can trade them Jordan Addison for a 1st round pick... A man can dream.
  10. Trevor Lawrence in 2 tweets... Then he throws absolute darts like this...
  11. Was just coming here to say the Jaguars are going to pull this off aren't they?
  12. Jackson Chourio welcome to the MLB postseason. My goodness
  13. I'm rooting for the Mariners to make it out of the AL.
  14. Most sports are better when there is a single team for all teams to hate. The Yankees were that team for most of the 1990's and 2000's. Hopefully now it's the Dodgers' turn. As the infamous bowler Pete Weber once said, "Hate me or love me. You watched."
  15. Yeah, I don't feel that yet. I don't count the 2020 season in any sports' history, so in my mind they've won 1 WS title as long as I've been alive.
  16. The feeling I get on TD is a majority hoping for Milwaukee to advance because that will prove smaller budgets can compete. Too many are sleeping on the Cubs making this a series and eventually winning to earn the honor of getting slaughtered by the Dodgers.
  17. If the Dodgers didn't have a million injuries this season they would have broken the record for wins in a season. They're a freight train on the way to another WS.
  18. Just goes to show you never know what kind of demons people are fighting behind closed doors. Sanchez on TV gave the impression he's an even keeled type of guy. Wasn't a hot take machine by any means. But we learned that he has enough anger/rage to beat the hell out of a random delivery driver when he's liquored up.
  19. He was in Indy to call the Colts game on Sunday. Got intoxicated and ordered Door Dash. Because he was intoxicated he got angry at the 70 year old delivery guy and fought him. Delivery driver used pepper spray, then resorted to using a knife on Sanchez, because the 70 year old man thought he might be beaten to death by Sanchez. Sanchez’ agent tried getting ahead of it by claiming Sanchez got robbed and stabbed. Now video evidence is out that he instigated the whole thing and almost killed a Door Dash delivery guy.
  20. I’m not concerned if they’ll get approved, but when they get approved like @The Great Hambinosaid. But besides that, the TV contract fiasco and record low attendance will play a bigger role in the 2026 budget. The Pohlads have never grasped the concept of investing in the on field product to gain more customers. They consistently place the blame on fans not showing up for their budgetary constraints
  21. Mark Sanchez's time as an NFL analyst is over. I'm not going to link the article but you can google it to find pictures of the 70 year old victim beaten to a pulp by Sanchez.
  22. We've got 40 something years of history with this ownership group. When have they ever spent to dig themselves out of a hole? I wouldn't advocate for it anyway, because it would be foolish to do so. - Minority ownership still yet to be approved - TV contract still a mess... Are we going to be sold off to ESPN now? - Attendance next year will be at an all-time low $120 million is a stretch goal at best. Below $100 million is more likely while we wait for the "loaded farm system" to produce anything of relevance.
  23. Drake Maye tonight is why I wanted to trade the farm to get him in the draft for the Vikings... Would have been willing to go 3 1st round picks for him. New England saw the same outcome, unfortunately.
  24. The Bills are close, but they've been missing a #1 WR for as long as I can remember. Hypothetically if they offered a 1st round pick for Addison at the deadline I'd do it.
  25. The Bills aren't dead yet in this game...
