  1. The only positive here is New England will be slightly more competitive for the Super Bowl. Denver had no shot after Bo Nix went down
  2. That may be the dagger
  3. Field goals aren’t gonna happen this game
  4. Snow game for the 2nd half so that’s cool
  5. How was that not a scoop and score for New England?
  6. Perfect grilling weather
  7. I’ve got little to no interest in the AFC Championship game. I’ll be tuning in for Darnold vs Stafford later today
  8. Pittsburgh hires 62 year old Mike McCarthy. Bizarre decision
  9. I can only speak for me but I’m pissed we didn’t complete the job on the rebuild. Keeping Ryan, Lopez, Buxton, Jeffers etc is a complete waste of time for them, and the fans. Once they depleted the entire bullpen in July 2025, and Falvey’s philosophy to not spend real money on RP (which I agree with BTW), it became clear to me to trade everyone else.
  10. Not ZIPs/Fangraphs that projected the Twins to win 82 games that’s for sure
  11. I couldn’t care less about projections, but the people clamoring that building a bullpen is the easiest thing to do on a baseball team will have a rude awakening this season.
  12. We will get to see him plenty this season while he wears a White Sox uniform. 2 year $20 million. No chance we were ever going to pay that type of money. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/01/white-sox-to-sign-seranthony-dominguez.html?
  13. I haven't heard much about the Raiders or Arizona, but Cleveland has had more coaches turn down interview requests than actual interviews. Evidently no one is that desperate to take on a 2 year complete rebuild with an incompetent ownership group.
  14. Phil Rivers interviewing for the Buffalo HC job. Which would be pretty fun to see if he was hired.
  15. It definitely seems like Flores has a Zimmer like reputation… I thought either one of Pittsburgh or Baltimore was a dream fit for him. Both organizations take immense pride in their defense, and both are very patient with their coaching staff.
  16. This sentence alone is the fundamental difference we have. The problem with a lot of them? Sorting through them and finding the right sequence of them. The Twins are going to sift through a lot of bad innings before they find a couple of good ones. And that's going to lose a lot of games. Plus that opening day lineup is best case scenario on paper right now. There will be injuries where depth will be immediately tested, and that is a frightening scenario in the IF.
  17. If Pittsburgh doesn't choose Flores as HC, I'm gonna guess their guy is Rams DC Chris Shula
  18. Tucker for 2026 will receive a $1 million salary with a $64 million signing bonus. He will still count as $57 million on the books for LA this year. The much larger problem is they have solved their state's high tax problem by issuing these ridiculous signing bonuses. So Kyle Tucker, a Florida resident, can assume 99.9% of his earnings right now in a no income tax state. These are the loopholes that need to be cut out in the next CBA... A cap on signing bonus, and a cap on deferrals. Paying Ohtani and Tucker a combined $3 million salary is a joke.
  19. That projected starting lineup is why I have zero interest in the team this year, sorry to say. The offseason is not over, but that's going to be pretty damn close to the opening day lineup. And that lineup has 90+ losses written all over it.
  20. I have no idea why Pittsburgh would choose a 62 year old who is most certainly behind the times as an offensive HC. But oh well, not my favorite team to be concerned about it.
  21. Correct. If he bolts for a HC job now we will get a 3rd round pick in 2026 and 2027
  22. Gotta hope the Steelers pass on him and we’re in the clear
  23. I can only imagine Keon Coleman waking up today early in the offseason. Looking at his phone and finding out the owner of the team he’s on and the GM throwing him under the bus like that. It’s gonna be real awkward when he passes one of them in the hallway.
