  1. A manager can deviate from the spreadsheet?
  2. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a sweep in the NL but I’ll give Milwaukee the benefit of the doubt they’ll win 1 game
  3. Dave Roberts didn’t get the memo to take his starters out early
  4. Tennessee’s gotta start hiring guys from PFF, or anyone that has walked by McVay or Shanahan in the hallway. It’s the only way to succeed in the modern NFL
  5. I’m just going to talk about the elephant in the room. The Twins are one of 4 MLB franchises that have had managers who are all white in their history. Do you think it’s coincidence the first 2 announced names we’ve interviewed are Ramon Vazquez and James Rowson? With Torii Hunter being discussed heavily here as a candidate? You’re not living in 2025 if you don’t think that’s being considered.
  6. I’ve read a lot of comments hoping it’s an experienced guy who will push back on Falvey’s ideas. The reality is that’s not going to happen. Ideally Falvey is not in charge to lead a rebuild in year 10 but here we are. The hire is going to be as comfortable as a warm dinner on a chilly rainy night like tonight.
  7. If Milwaukee can’t win this game it’s gonna be 5 games or less in this series
  8. Same with Jeffers too. Ryan would get $25-30 million per year and Jeffers would get closer to $20 million if they were FAs this winter.
  9. Didn't take long for Jomboy to break down this bonkers play.
  10. KOC deserves the benefit of the doubt after getting more out of journeyman QBs than 90% of coaches in the NFL. The problem is, like you pointed out, KOC/Kwesi thinking McCarthy was ready to lead a veteran team ready to win right now. And that’s really where the debate between fans is stuck. There’s a subset of Vikings fans that wants McCarthy to get reps this year, record be damned. I’m in a subset of Vikings fans that wants to win, QB development be damned.
  11. I'm thrilled that Polanco looks healthy this year and producing BIG time in the playoffs. What is there to be learned for the Twins from this trade? Absolutely nothing. Keeping Polanco wasn't going to stop this organization from swirling down the drain.
  12. After 6 weeks, every team in the NFC North has a winning record. No other division can say the same. We knew it was going to be a heavyweight fight in this division, and it's living up to the hype
  13. The consequence of pulling Snell when he was absolutely locked in to complete the game
  14. Unbelievable by Snell. One of the most dominant starting pitching performances in years. Let him complete the shutout!
  15. How about the 8th?
  16. I’m old enough to remember when Tampa thought Snell was a 5 and fly guy
  17. Not tonight. 6 strong innings by Snell
  18. Brewers learning tonight expecting 5 pitchers to be perfect is a tough ask
  19. Freddie Freeman!
  20. You think Wallner or Larnach would have scooped that throw from Snell? I think that would have ended up down the RF line with them…
  21. They say there’s a chance you’ll see something on a baseball field you’ve never seen before. That was it.
  22. I had no idea what was going on lol. Neither did the Dodgers
  23. Oh my word what a crazy sequence on that play
  24. Too many sports on tonight and not enough screen space. Dodgers game, 2 NFL games and the Wild hockey game
