  1. Considering the Vikings have never been on Hard Knocks before... This feels like the year we will do it, right?
  2. I'm pretty optimistic actually. We did just win 9 games with the worst QB play in the league. All Kyler needs to do is be league average or better and there's a good chance we're winning 10+ games in 2026. I was a lot more pessimistic about the Vikings if we were rolling with a QB room similar to McCarthy - Wentz - Brosmer like last season.
  3. Oh boy, here we go again...
  4. It's happening whether we like it or not. Once he signs, the clock starts to figure out a trade for McCarthy. Him rotting on the bench for most of 2026 is going to destroy his trade value. So let's get a mid round pick and move on.
  5. https://www.sports-reference.com/stathead/tiny/131BS That link is your wish thru the same age. If he continues on as Sano did, he's a replacement player or worse the rest of his MLB career...
  6. Probably the first prospect called up in mid-April when enough service time days are accounted for to get the 7th year of control.
  7. Both insiders have carried the water for any agent/owner just to put their name with the other on a breaking news tweet. Minnesota's own Tom Pelissero is just as complicit too. Now that I've thought about it, Tom P is an NFL Network guy too so I assume he's a future ESPN employee too? It'll be a big 3 of breaking news guys.
  8. Wallner is one of the very few power threats the Twins have. So I am a little more patient with him because of that lone fact. Defensively, an OF of Larnach - Buxton - Wallner in 2026 is going to stink. Bottom 5 in baseball frankly. We will find out quickly this year if Wallner figures it out, or goes full Miguel Sano striking out way too much and batting below the Uecker level.
  9. Gonna be honest. I haven't watched a single second of the WBC.
  10. These 2 are either going to get lazy teamed up together, or one will eat the other. No in between.
  11. Kirko is linked to the Raiders. Him and Fernando Mendoza will be sitting outside MGM Grand calling everyone sinners as they enter the casino
  12. KOC and Flores both love their comfortable, cozy veteran players.
  13. Like you, Dan, and everyone else in the thread I wish they would go younger now and build as much draft capital as possible for 2027. Then again, I can see the logic if the Triangle of Authority thinks this team can make the playoffs and win. They won 9 games with the worst QB play in the league...
  14. If that's the path they're choosing, then it doesn't make much sense to trade Greenard. I'd rather give him a raise for 2026, and if this roster isn't good enough, then we blow it all up next offseason.
  15. Aaron Jones takes a paycut and remains with the Vikings for 2026 at $5.5 million base salary.
  16. Danny Dimes making $40+ million destroyed the Giants. So Indy says let's do it again! What could go wrong
  17. NFL needs to step in and investigate. A really terrible look by the Ravens doing this.
  18. 1) Any top prospect in this organization on the opening day roster is literal roster malpractice. There is zero reason for the Twins to potentially burn a full year of control for a projected 90+ loss team. 2) Everything I'm reading here is Larnach and Waller in COF, and Bell at 1B. Oh boy. 3) You mean to tell me the pitching pipeline (TM) still needs more time? Shocking. 4) So glad we acquired him with the requirement of carrying him on the 40 man roster. 5) I guess? Neither are going to be impact players on a contending team.
  19. I bet the Ravens go and sign Trey Hendrickson now.
  20. Now my major concern is the Bears getting an elite pass rusher in Maxx Crosby at a reduced rate...
  21. The Ravens must not use the same doctor as the Twins used to approve signing Carlos Correa a few years ago.
  22. The NFL is becoming the NBA in that regard. The salary cap is increasing so quickly that teams are throwing silly money at marginal players. For perspective, the last time the salary cap decreased was 2021. It was set at $182.5 million. 5 years later, the salary cap is $302 million.
  23. Was there really any doubt Outman won’t be on the opening day roster? He’s the only backup CF we have realistically.
