  1. I don't have a good feeling about the game tonight if both Darrisaw and O'Niell are out. Hope I'm wrong.
  2. Darrisaw added to the injury list because of the knee and is now questionable. Sigh…
  3. Will be interesting if this becomes a trend as teams prepare for the 2027 lockout
  4. Revolutionary take to assume keeping a player with 1.043 MLB service time, making MLB minimum, who has shown power and glimpses of success with MLB pitching, unless you have a trade offer that you can't refuse. My best guess is he'll be on the roster next spring too.
  5. That would be pretty cool. It would take an insane amount of luck, but I’m rooting for it.
  6. @RpRjust gonna get out ahead of this. No one has said he should play defense which is your specialty. There’s this special position in MLB called the designated hitter, which the Twins do not have anyone in mind to put in that crazy spot. Perhaps that is Matt Wallner.
  7. Well that’s probably not going to happen much in 2026. We’re on our way to another 90+ loss season thanks to a crap bullpen.
  8. You get it. Talking about what to do with him when he’s barely 1 year into his MLB service time is absurd.
  9. Matt Wallner costs the league minimum next year. Is he worth that? Look, you bring up good points about how he can and should improve, but what are we talking about? Power bats costs $$$$ in Yelp restaurant terms.
  10. Sure agreed with that. We are going to need more than 1 person to hit a baseball into the seats.
  11. Evidently there are a few Wallner haters here. Who else on the current roster has the potential to hit 30 HRs? Power wins out in this league. If the Twins trade him he’ll be the next Brent Rooker
  12. What a stupid argument. Wallner was solely responsible for the amount of runners he could bat in? He’s the only legitimate power threat this team has. He’s not going anywhere. And if he does that’s another box to check to fire Falvey immediately.
  13. Drafting well in the mid rounds is the only way to sustain success in this league. Kwesi’s not going to last in this role if he can’t figure out that crucial aspect of his job. When I evaluate GMs I weight my grade heavily on drafting/development. So far Kwesi has a failing grade there… Relying so heavily on FA acquisitions is why we’re on this roller coaster of greatness one year followed by a disappointing 7-10 season.
  14. #TrustTheProcess
  15. A rare day where there isn’t 4 sports games going on simultaneously that I want to watch…
  16. There’s no question the standards are different for veterans vs. McCarthy for KOC. Cashman started right away off IR, and it sounds like Aaron Jones is going to do the same on Thursday. It’s frustrating but I knew they weren’t going to start him on a short week. The excuses are over after this game. They’ll have 10 full days to get him ready to play against Detroit.
  17. This is the last game where the Vikings can hide behind the injury to McCarthy. If he’s not ready to go for Detroit, then the reporters need to start asking the uncomfortable questions every press conference
  18. We are in complete alignment here. Just wait until the offseason when they sign Kyle Tucker, Framber Valdez, and Edwin Diaz just because they can.
  19. I’ve got nothing against the Blue Jays… But it’s easy to empathize with Mariners fans as a Minnesota sports fan. All we know is heart break and never getting over the final hurdle. At least Seattle has a Super Bowl title to celebrate.
  20. Yeah man that was their best chance to finally break the streak
  21. It all comes down to this… Do we claim Jeff Hoffman as an old friend?
  22. Very entertaining game
  23. Brooks Lee doesn’t make that double play happen. The up the middle defense from every team is significantly better than anything we’ve seen from our Twins the last couple of years.
